Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Arvika Municipality

We stayed five nights in Celine's cozy and "typical Swedish" accommodation. We spent our time collecting chanterelles, fishing, with numerous great moose encounters as well as relaxing evenings in front of the fireplace. That's why it wasn't hard for us to leave some comfortable habits and enjoy the luxury of simple things.

We had a really nice week at the cottage. We had everything we needed, the house was spacious and the surroundings were breathtakingly beautiful. We loved the closeness to the forest.

We spent seven days in Mike and Kristine's wonderful holiday home. The property is in a wonderfully idyllic location and there are lots of details to discover in the garden. The house is clean and superbly equipped, so we didn't miss a thing. A big plus is also the own jetty to the lake and the possibility to use the rowing boat and canoe. Unfortunately, the water level of the lake had dropped so much at the time of our stay in August that we couldn't get the rowing boat into the water, but as the canoe was easy to use from the jetty, this wasn't a problem and we were able to explore the lake and its wonderful shores. Communication with Mike and Kristine was smooth and any questions were answered quickly. If you are looking for a quiet, private location in the middle of the Swedish countryside, this is the place for you.

We had very nice days in Anne & Henrik's Swedish cottage. The house is cozily furnished, very clean and super equipped. Large kitchen, huge fridge, cozy sofa, modern bathroom - everything your heart desires. Our highlight was the direct access to the lake, although we were unfortunately only able to use it once because of the weather. But it was worth it just for the view over morning coffee. In the village, there is a supermarket as well as a pizzeria and a restaurant. So you're not quite as secluded and don't have to go far, but you can even go shopping on foot. :-) In addition, the street where the cottage is located is lit in the evening. For our evening round with the dog, that was great. It's also close to Sunne. This is the nearest larger place with a few shops, restaurants, cafes.

Peter responded quickly when I had questions. The reception was super nice and the accommodation very clean, modern and nice! The surroundings are so beautiful. Glava has a special place in my heart and getting to stay this quiet and relaxed was perfect for the situation I was in. Everything has really been awesome! Will no doubt book this home in the future!

Very nice host couple. Really nice little cottage with everything you need. Nice patio with barbecue grills. Clean and nice, fresh duvet and pillows. We really enjoyed the week at Gina's place. By boat, we were able to explore the two lakes and catch great fish. The hostess was nearby the first two days and helped us with everything. Great place in a lovely location.

Unfortunately, we didn't find the vacation home right away, but that was quickly taken care of. The house had everything you need at home - towels, blankets, bed linens, tumble dryer, washing machine, garden furniture, life jackets, small and large utensils in the kitchen. Based on the reviews, we assumed that you can fish "correctly" directly on site. Unfortunately not the right thing for us, but children certainly have fun there. For fishing, we then drove to the campsite (Glaskogen, about 25 minutes), where you can also book a "Fishing Guide". So fishing, shopping (Charlottenberg), sightseeing (e.g. the Brigadmueum in Karlstad, the well-known junkyard in Bastnas) - there was something for each of us :). Thanks Gunn... regards

Sara’s cabin is truly beautiful. It was spotlessly clean and wonderfully cozy. The only thing we missed was a bit more storage space in the bathroom. We felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If we are in the area again, we would definitely rent Sara’s cabin again!

Great place to stay. Clean, neat, modern with all amenities you need. We would gladly came back. Really recommend this space for couples or small families 😊

Beautiful cabin with full amenities and well located with proximity to the beach (Ingastranden) to the city and culture (Arvika) as well as hiking (Glasskogen nature reserve). Kathrine was always friendly and very quick to respond to our questions. We highly recommend it. In the adjacent forest there were plenty of blueberries, peppers and even trolls - you just have to find them;-) The only downside to our stay was the weather, but the cabin, its location and Kathrine can't do anything.
