The Benedikte house is about 10 minutes drive from Egersund city center and about 5 minutes from the E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the yard on Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple who walk free. The house is very modern and well equipped.

We have spent the winter of 2021 renovating the old cabin that has been here on the farm since 1936. Now we hope our guests will enjoy themselves here at Brekkekanten as much as we do. Welcome to our family cabin. You can enjoy the nice view over the Lysefjord, special from the terrace. It is just a few minutes from the see, where you can take a bath. The cabin has a perfect location for a lot of hikings in the area: Preikestolen, Flørli, Kjerag and a lot of other places. It is only a few minutes by car to the Forsand quay, and departures for Flørli and Lysebotn.
