Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.

Janet was a great host, friendly and considerate. She made sure we had everything we needed, even providing some fresh milk for our arrival, and made it known that we could contact her if we had any issues. Otherwise she left us in peace to enjoy our stay, which was also appreciated. Her house was clean, presentable and comfortable. It was perfect for our needs for the 2 night stay and had everything we needed. The location was also nice with the big park right opposite. My 6 year old daughter loved the trampoline in the back garden as well. We were visiting family in the Nottingham area so we will definitely be back at some point and would look to stay here again. Many thanks.

Had a really nice relaxing stay at Angelica's, the bungalow has been finished to a lovely standard and the log burner made it a really cosy stay. Angelica is a brilliant host and made me feel welcome from the moment I got there. Would recommend highly!!

It was a very clean and tidy apartment with everything we needed. The only issue was the hot water in shower, it kept going off and caused a difficult experience in the shower. Apart from this, everything was perfect!

Had a great stay . Perfect for anyone going to the arena or city centre which is only 10 mins away. Lovely home , well decorated and comfortable. Unfortunately the wifi was a little temperamental , and we couldn’t get the tv to work . It didn’t ruin our stay as we were only there for an evening . Martyn was so helpful and was on hand for my questions, and was very apologetic. Overall , great place to stay and will definitely be back if we visiting Nottingham again .
