Cottage holiday rentals in Arico el Nuevo

Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

My boyfriend and I had such a lovely time staying here. The views are absolutely amazing, and the house is beautiful and rustic. The terrace is very spacious, and there is a little garden that attracts lots of little birds. The whole house is dreamy and surrounded by cute flowers and native plants. We loved using the log burner in the evenings, as it sometimes got quite chilly; this made it even more cosy and homely. Having a car is essential to stay here (and also to explore the rest of the island). There's a Lidl and Aldi nearby and plenty of great restaurants and beaches. Thank you so much for having us!

Outstanding location with absolutely mesmerising views !! Away from the cluttered cities surrounded by vineyards I would highly recommend for those seeking a getaway in Tenerife. The places has not only views to offer , fully equipped with all sorts of amenities that one would ever wish for. Ellen is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would definitely be coming back for more !!!

We had a wonderful stay at in La Florida and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday away. The house and gardens were exactly as shown in the photos and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the wood burning hot tub, we purchased additional wood from the Repsol garage. The drive to the house was steep but very manageable for a confident driver. Initially we were given keys to only one of the apartments however as this had two single beds we requested the keys to the second place as this had a double bed and Susana was very accommodating in providing these.

The property is lovely and everything you need for relaxing getaway. We loved the outside area, Al fresco at its finest. Supermarket is situated at the bottom of the road, 5-10 minute walk. Puerto del La Cruz is only a 15 minute drive and playa El Bollullo is on 15 minute drive, bit of a walk down to the beach, but well worth it. also the restaurant at the top is lovely, with a great back drop. If you want a relaxing getaway away from the hussle and bussle, then this is the place for you. Wake up to beautiful views of Tiede and the sea. what more could you want. See you next time.

The Villa was absolutely beautiful, a pleasure to return to after a day out and perfect for 5 adults and a 2 year old. The Villa was spotless and there was plenty of linen for a two week stay. There is everything you can wish for in the Villa. There is a lovely pool on site, cold water but refreshing on a warm day. The Villa is within easy reach of two Supermarkets and shops and a five minute walk to the regular Adeje Market. An 8 minute walk will bring you to the delightful beaches of Del Duque. The host is super responsive, all in all a great place to be.

A nice house in a beautiful location, the garden, and the views of Tiede from it, are absolutely stunning. The house was clean and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maykel is responsive and answered any queries we had promptly. Highly recommended.

We felt right at home, good location, quiet area with a very good nearby guachinche. You have many trails to do near the house. The house in general was perfect, very clean and tidy. The jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing and was in very good condition. Very clean sheets and towels and very comfortable beds. The only thing you have to park several meters from the house because just in front is usually a neighbor's car, but everything else is great. We only had a problem with the Oven that did not work because the leancas were skipping, but we already communicated it so they can fix it for upcoming stays. What we liked most is that it allowed us to stay on the last day until late because I had no reservations and that is all a detail from the host that very few do. Everything else perfect. Thank you very much Aldo for your kindness, we will definitely repeat again. A hug.

We had a great time here! The house is very close to nearby restaurants (2-4 minute walk), pools in the sea (20 minute walk) and has a nice view of the sea. The town itself is quiet and has everything you need, the nearby market offers all necessary things. We would definitely visit again!

The apartment is very nice, clean and lovingly furnished – many beautiful details! 😊 Maribel was super attentive and always available. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime.

The host Maria is great, always helpful, super friendly and sweet with our kids. We had a great stay in the house and enjoyed the view over the bay and the banana plantation. Maria also provided us with a whole load of freshly harvested bananas which tasted amazing. Totally recommended place.

We really liked the peace and quiet of the finca overlooking the sea. The hosts were very kind, Ana was always available for any communication in English. Fresh eggs and bananas in the kitchen on arrival. Thank you for a nice week!

We loved our stay here in Los Carbonaras. The house was beautiful, functional, and had everything we needed. The only note for other people is to know the walls in the bedrooms don't go all the way up so you can hear each others (watch out for snores!). But it absolutely did not detract from the experience. We had a lot of fun cooking in the kitchen and enjoying the ourside terrace. The views from the place are stunning and it is a great location to explore the area by foot. The property is part of a small farm and Yanira's mother was an attentive neighbor who let us have some of their fresh grown spinach. They also left us some fresh eggs and fruit in the house. We really enjoyed the walks between the villages, which we mostly did on the road since there were so few cars. Nature was right on the doorstep, with plenty of birds, butterflies and plants to satisfy us nature nerds. We would absolutely come back in a heartbeat.

Great stay surrounded by nature in a place that had everything we needed for a few days. The outdoor seating for breakfast, donkeys in the backyard and a fireplace for the evenings were our highlights! Thanks Pedro for a brilliant few days.

A real pleasure. We loved Tegueste and the location of the house, high up and overlooking the ocean. The stay is very nice and the communication is excellent. We were given rice once we needed it and it felt like home. On the Mayo Bridge they seem to be local parties so at night there was some noise in the village but it did not affect us too much. Would love to come back.

We had a truly unforgettable stay in Los Silos an experience we’ll always cherish. The evenings spent enjoying dinner and drinks in the garden were magical, full of charm and warmth. I had a bit of trouble with the check-in process because I was swamped and forgot to send my details, but Jan was incredibly patient and kind, calling a few times to help me through it all with genuine care. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped everything from toasters and mixers to an oven and a wide range of seasonings. If you love to cook, you’ll feel right at home. If you’re looking for a stay that leaves a lasting impression, Casa La Moringa is the place to be. Thank you Jan and Susanne !

It was a great experience. We were four grown ups and one infant and had space for everyone including a bed and much equipment for the little one. The surroundings is amazing and the garden is great, comfortable and spacious. We really loved it there. Alvaro was always responsive and helped with any problem or wish for help immediately. if you want some quite and prefer to stay away from the touristic areas, this is the house for you! thanks!

Great flat with fantastic views in a calm and secluded area. Beautiful garden with a very calm and clean pool. Only downside is in my opinion, that the location is not super easy to reach, but that might just be the price for having such a nice and calm environment.

Sergej personally welcomed us and made every effort to ensure our satisfaction. Communication with him was quick and effective. The house is old and full of small details and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed. The garden invites you to linger and the views are breathtaking.

The place is impeccable. Superb view of all the rooms. BellesTerrasses. Francisco is very friendly and communicating even if it was complicated because we don't speak Spanish at all. In short, no complaints. We'll be happy to go back if we come back to Tenerife.

we spent 10 wonderful days in Sergi and Félix's villa. this meeting with them was our favorite thing about tenerife. Félix and Sergi are two people with an incomparable joie de vivre. They know how to put you at ease with a warm welcome. You will feel at home. It is certain that we will return to their villa for our next visit to Tenerife. We felt very comfortable in Tatiana's apartment from the beginning. We liked the nice reception, the fantastic and quiet location and the special charm of the apartment very much. We were able to relax wonderfully, but also start walking in the mountains directly from the apartment. A rental car is recommended to explore the further, worthwhile surroundings. In the village, there is a well-stocked supermarket, which can be reached quickly by car, but also on foot. Tatiana lives next door and was always friendly and helpful.
