Walk, cycle, kayak, swim. Book-lined lounge/study with sofa bed, double bedroom, kitchen, shower room, access to secure back garden with fish pond. Dogs welcome if friendly to mine.

Woodside is a stunning 1850s Victorian mansion. The beautifully renovated top floor apartment has two bedrooms and private bathroom. There is a seating area in the twin bedroom and fridge/microwave/coffee machine in the hallway. An ideal base for visiting the area or for a stop-over. Grounds are extensive and views are breathtaking. Loch Long shore is at the bottom of the garden and there is a kids play area. Easy access to Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Arrochar Alps, Faslane and Coulport Naval bases.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. We are in a fantastic location on the shore of Loch Long and provides you with a base from which to explore. You can walk, run, cycle or hike the Rosneath peninsula. You can kayak, paddle board or even swim in Loch Long. We are a 20 minute drive from Helensburgh where there is a bustling sea front with plenty of choices to eat and shop. Another 10 minute drive gets you to Loch Lomond where you can hire kayaks and paddle boards or go for a cruise.

Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy.
