The Orchard Room offers a kingsize bed without a footboard (better for tall guests!). Cawdor is a most attractive village with an excellent village pub, shop, church and a variety of outdoor pursuits nearby from golf (with 3 Championship golf courses within 10 miles), hill-walking, salmon fishing, shooting, cycling and skiing. Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands, and Inverness Airport are both within 15 minutes drive.

Cosy bungalow in nice wee village; shops and train/bus routes. The Ground floor is included in this listing; upstairs is kept for storage. One double bed only, the listing says one bed in lounge, only sofas but I can’t correct this… There is a covered deck out the back door, great for sitting out in the rain! Good base for access to rest of NW Scotland; on the edge of the NC500, 14 miles from Inverness. Please read the house manual; note this is a quiet street and not a party house..
