Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Le Clos de Narco

The studio is located in a completely refurbished old cellar equipped with reversible air conditioning. A living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom with a bed and a bathroom equipped with a toilet. Pool access is also available (summer only: unheated pool) The studio is part of our house, so we live above the accommodation but remain discreet and available during your stay. An adorable dog lives on the property.
