Really extraordinary experience staying in this authentic castle built in 850 AD, renovated in 1360. Had modern appliances and was comfortable. Jean claude was so kind and helpful. Was really a pleasure to interact with him. The surrounding area was not too impressive, but we drove to lyon an hour away and vienne 30 min away for food, drinks, and city life.

Beautiful estate, we had a great time with the family. The place is very quiet, suitable for young children who appreciate the contact with the animals present on the site. The gite is spacious, well-equipped. Would definitely recommend.

The Château de la Rochetaillée is a beautiful and somewhat hidden place where you will find a very pleasant host and lots of animals. Breakfast is delicious. We only stayed one night but would gladly have extended the stay!

Very pleasant stay in this beautiful medieval fortified house embellished in the 16th century, beautiful staircase not shown in the photos, and current interior layout pleasant and functional, not to mention the rooftop terrace with its view of the surrounding countryside framed by two towers, it's worth contorting yourself a little. And Laurent took care to tell me the story of his beautiful home by showing me the most beautiful rooms of his own home, a big thank you!
