Tiphaine's studio is as described. Very well located, the balcony is large enough to have lunch and enjoy the superb view of the ocean and the Cordouan lighthouse. Tiphaine is very responsive to our requests and very friendly.

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Perfect accommodation in Saint George de Didonne. Close to downtown and the beach. Close-by shops and restaurants. We did everything on foot. Very nice accommodation: peaceful and neat decoration. All the equipment was there to have a good stay. I'd recommend it without a second thought. Thanks to Sylvie, Emma and Maxime for their hospitality.

We were hosted very well by Myriam. His professionalism and good humour allowed us to start our stay in the best conditions! The accommodation is consistent with the photos and very well equipped. Its location is also ideal for many walks on the coastal trail. Recommended without hesitation! 😎

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Very welcoming little house. Spacious rooms and good bedding. The kitchen is well-equipped, tidy and clean. Géraldine is very available. Beaches, and nearby shops. Thank you so much for hosting us.

The house was superb - spacious, smart and very well-equipped in every respect. It has a lovely pool, pool house and poolside lounging area, which our children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. Its location in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer is great, with one beach (Plage du Platin) within easy walking distance and others (Grand Coté, Bureau and Nauzan) just a little further away. There is a good boulangerie (which serves pizzas in the evening) and a seafood supplier just 5 minutes walk away. We would be very happy to stay with Catherine again and thoroughly recommend the house.

Isabelle was extremely welcoming, available and accommodating on our arrival. The accommodation is ideally located in a peaceful setting and at the same time close to amenities. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy. There was even enough to make a hearty breakfast, a charming attention. Isabelle took the time to explain the walks, the restaurants, the must-sees of this pretty island. We strongly recommend this kind host. We'll be happy to go back

The apartment is in a very good location right in front of the beach and very close to the port and the city center. You can walk everywhere. It is spacious, very well arranged and equipped. Perfect for 6 people without being on top of each other. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking from morning to night. Really a nice place.

The apartment is perfectly equipped and clean. It is very well located while being quiet. It is a perfect base for discovering the city of Royan and its surroundings while enjoying excellent services. The bedding is also of excellent quality! Finally, the communication of the entry and departure procedures was very clear.

Amélie has always been very responsive, the accommodation is great, 2 steps from the ocean, it's royal. We arrived by bike from Royan train station, it is very accessible and the residence is secure. We'll be back for more bike trips! Chloe and Florian

Beautiful studio, very clean and well equipped, with a good real bed and a small terrace. Well located, close to the beaches of Vaux-sur-Mer and Saint-Palais, easily accessible on foot as well as shops. We also enjoyed the quiet, the view of the trees framing a small stretch of sea and the reserved parking. In addition, the host welcomes us in person, for once it is not a key box, it is appreciable.

we had a very nice stay in the cozy studio of Florence and Nicolas, it is close to the sea and the street is free for parking. Florence was super responsive, gave us plenty of addresses and the accommodation was decorated with a lot of taste and with little extra touches in a word: TOP!!!! Thanks

Overall we had a nice stay. Apartment located close to all amenities, very nice private parking. Bus stop close to the residence. Very pleasant apartment to live in, very quiet in May. Beautiful walks nearby on the coastal trail. We recommend it.
