Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Apulia

Family of 4 (2 older adults & 2 young adults) stayed 3 nights in early May 2025. Fernanda was very welcoming & responsive! She’s very adept at using audio translations so we were able to understand each other without problems. All the rooms in the apartment are huge, and there was more than enough space for our family. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms modernized, the kitchen well-stocked, and Fernanda provided many thoughtful and practical items. The neighborhood is very walkable to the many interesting sights of Lecce. We chose to have a car to explore other parts of southern Puglia and had no trouble finding free street parking near this apartment when we returned from our excursions. Note that there are about 25 steps up to the apartment from street level. There’s also an electric stair chair that a guest could probably arrange to use. We highly recommend Casa Filippo!

We really enjoyed our stay at Antonio's, a little noisy but there are two ACs so you can close all windows.

Gennaro’s place was nicely decorated with personal touches, and very tidy and clean. He welcomed us for check-in, showed us around his home, and told us his unique story. Gennaro’s home is located in a charming small town with beautiful views and is highly recommended!

Katia is an extraordinary person of unique kindness. When we arrived, she surprised my children with 2 Easter eggs! she was very helpful and gave us a lot of information about places to visit and restaurants to visit. he also prepared a guide to help tourists visiting these places in Puglia. His little house is perfect for visiting Polignano. It is small but has all comforts! In addition, the cleanliness of the apartment is excellent. It is strategically located in the center of Polignano and we had a great time... the parking is located at the station (as recommended by Katia) which is close to the apartment.

We had two very good nights at Fabio's house. Our kids were able to enjoy its great garden and amenities (they loved the trampoline). The house was very spacious, clean, very well equipped, very nice with a large terrace. Fabio is a very friendly host, always available to answer our questions. We highly recommend this place not far from the beach.

Apartment with great sea view, holiday-friendly, great location with short distances to the sea (also in August there is a quiet place) and to the village.

We spent over a week at Sara’s place and we loved it. The house is amazing and we greatly enjoyed the location and the breath taking view of the sea. The house is equipped with everything you need and it was actually bigger than expected. The surrounding area is super quiet and in a beautiful natural area. Sara and the person that helped us with the house were super responsive and address any questions/needs we had. It was super sad leaving the place and we would definitely love to come back. Thank you Sara for all you have done for me and my family.

Giovanna and Leonardo are EXCEPTIONAL HOSTS! They welcomed us warmly in their comfortable, very clean and well-equipped home. In addition, delicate touches, much appreciated, awaited us upon our arrival (fruits, vegetables, jam, olive oil etc ...). Casa Giovanna is very well located to shine in Puglia and discover this wonderful region. It is in all respects consistent with the description and photos posted on Airbnb. Our stay in their house went very well, quiet, in the heart of olive and cherry tree plantations and a large flowered garden. Giovanna and Leonardo are deeply kind, very helpful and very responsive. We reiterate our sincere thanks to them.

My stay in Parabita was truly unforgettable. The location is absolutely stunning, offering beautiful surroundings and a perfect setting to relax and enjoy the charm of Puglia. The house itself is spectacular—spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Massimo, the host, was exceptional—always attentive and incredibly kind, making sure every detail was taken care of. His hospitality made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of southern Italy in a gorgeous home with a wonderful host.

Maria Antonietta's accommodations are exactly as described and the large olive grove in which the building is immersed is fantastic to be able to leave our dog free while we were in the accommodation. We noticed the noises and voices coming from other accommodations, but only because we're used to being in the countryside. I think the sound insulation is equivalent to that of any condominium apartment. The next time we are in the area, we will definitely return to Maria Antonietta!

Our stay at Emilio's was great. The host was immediately very helpful, friendly and gave us a lot of directions to the area and places to visit and where to eat. In addition, it has always met our every request. We followed many of Emilio's tips that have made our vacation unforgettable. The apartment was exactly as described in the listing, very comfortable and close to the center of Vieste. A beautiful experience, we recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was as described: spacious, very clean, in a very quiet area and a 5-minute walk to the beach. We felt right at home. There were drinks in the fridge when we arrived. And Tony... a perfect host! Very attentive, he made us taste very good specialties, we enjoyed ourselves! Also very responsive to our questions and very good advice for visits, restaurant addresses, supermarket addresses, the cooperative to buy olive oil. I would recommend this place without hesitation!
