A well designed and unusual house, built into the rock and a cool escape from the heat. Homely, and well lit. Everything works. In a quiet part of town, but with easy access to everything necessary. A great place to come back to. Easy communications with Clodia who was helpful & responsive. Hope to return.

Wow! This is probably the best airbnb we have stayed in. Antonella was an amazing host and the Airbnb itself is beautiful as well as the absolutely stunning views from the balcony/terrace. Everything we wanted to do was a short walking distance away and there was plenty of amenities in the Airbnb which enhanced the stay, including the moka pot which we used to make coffee to go with the cake that Antonella had kindly left us. We visited Matera for our anniversary and had an unforgettable time in this Airbnb right in the heart of the Sassi. Grazie Antonella!

We had an incredible stay at Giovanna's place. It is located a few footsteps from an amazing view of the Sassi di Matera. Truly magical every time we stepped outside and easy access to walk down further and deeper. It is a traditional cave type dwelling however it is very clean and comfortable with 2 bathrooms with nice showers and a comfortable large bed. It has a decent kitchen for self-catering and a small table with chairs outside to enjoy some wine in the evening. It was nice and cool inside during the day when we were experiencing 30+ temperatures. Giovanna was a great communicator and was swift to reply to messages and generally easy-going. Patrizia’s place was amazing. We took the time to sit out in the stairs and enjoy a “home” made meal while watching the Sassi light up and it was amazing. There’s plenty to see around and a good wine bar a couple minutes below. Patrizia was very responsive and helped us get a taxi as it was raining when we left. Thanks again for everything!

We had a pleasant vacation in a magnificent place. We felt at home, maybe for the first time we didn't feel the inconvenience of traveling with our dog because Isabella never made us feel like we were grateful for it, it was more than natural for her to welcome a couple with a pet. Our dog had the place to run free since the apartment is part of a house surrounded by olive trees and oranges. Isabella was a very kind and welcoming host, upon our arrival she made us find, to our pleasant surprise of the fresh bread, tomatoes and oil of her production. One night, returning home, he made us find clean towels (although it was absolutely not kept) and biscuits. What else to say, that terrace and that view speak for themselves. Mattinata is a strategic place to visit Gargano, especially because the most beautiful beaches are there.

Well where to start. Francesco is a great host, very patient and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. His personal generosity went a long way to help make our stay in Matera memorable. It was hot and staying in a cave and a luxury one at that provided both respite and comfort. It was an experience we will remember for a long time. The terrace is a massive bonus, great place to sit, have breakfast or chill with glass of wine. There is always a part of the terrace in shade. Thank you very much Francesco.

The optimal accommodation for two, for a couple of days in this wonderful town! It is small but super divided. Everything is super clean. The location is awesome. Only a few steps from the pedestrian zone, but still away from the hustle and bustle. And Vito is a very pleasant host. Thank you again!

Wonderful stay! Ilario met us in the street to make sure we were parked in the right spot. He took us in and explained the construction of the home, which was very interesting. He provided us with a map and recommendations on restaurants and things to do. Great location. Walkable to many of the sites and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay at Rosanna's. His parents were very welcoming and responsive. Beautiful location in the heart of a very well maintained garden. We enjoyed taking the bikes for a ride in the surroundings and all the amenities for baby (high chair, bassinet, bath). Grazie mille!

Great place, extremely private and peaceful. Charming, feels that Sergio invested his hart and soul into it. We enjoyed incredible sunsets and view. We were spending nights with red wine outside and treated ourselves with delicious barbecue. Great , peaceful energy.

Villa Batu is a beautiful place to stay in the Puglia area. Two wonderful big bedrooms, and a great kitchen with lots of useful utensils (most well equipped kitchen we have stayed in). The outside area was really the star of the show though; there were multiple areas to sit to capture the sun throughout the whole day. A wonderful outdoor dining area, sun loungers and comfy seats throughout. The pool was superb. The location is peaceful, quite and serene. Would highly recommend a car as there aren't any shops/restaurants, etc. within walking distance nor any buses. Note for future guests - use Google Maps to navigate to 'Villa Batu' (it takes you directly there). Ilaria, the host, was excellent - responsive to communication, kind and helpful. And Michele, the caretaker, was also very helpful and good communication. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend this wonderful location and Villa Batu - it really is one not to miss!

I stayed here with my husband, our babysitter, and two small children ages four and two. We were very comfortable. Everything that we needed was there. It is very central to many areas and very beautiful. I would stay here again if we came back. I highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Trullo Perla Greta. Silvana and her local house manager Francesca were very responsive and communicative, meeting us in town, showing us the grocery store and helping us get settled in. The gated Villa is about 2 miles outside of charming Alberobello, and served as a base to explore the towns of Puglia by car. The three bedrooms (access to one is a private entrance) are well appointed with luxurious linens. We had bikes delivered, but note that a portion of the road is unpaved. The outside pool and lounge area were stunning, providing both sun and shade options. At night, the outside lighting is magical for dining and socializing. The pool helped us cool off after sightseeing!! A highlight was having a chef come to teach us how to make homemade orecchiette. If you are looking for an authentic stay in Puglia, look no further! Thank you Silvana and Francesca for making everything seamless!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was beautiful, the villa style meant we all had a private space, and we enjoyed the outdoor spaces for eating, relaxing, and soaking up the sun.

It was such a pleasure to spend a few days at this hidden gem, hosted by Emanuele, his wife Laura, sister Giulia, and parents Simonetta and Tomasso, all of whom made us feel right at home. We were spoiled by the daily breakfasts they prepared, and Emanuele provided many great local recommendations for us. The pool and surroundings are so peaceful, and the room was very comfortable. We could not have asked for a better place to explore Salento from, or for more generous and welcoming hosts!

Alexia's place was even more beautiful than the photos. It was so quiet and peaceful, it was lovely. Every room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, beautiful rainfall shower, everything you need in the kitchen. I stayed here on my own and felt really comfortable and safe with the private gate. Alexia was always quick to respond if I needed anything. Ostuni is 5-10 walk away, it's just one straight road into the town. There's a petrol station right round the corner and there was always a space to park outside the house. Great stay. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Walter’s place. He was all the time responsive and friendly to us. We loved the apartment. It was a lovely get away for us. Carmen was also very kind. We hope we would return soon. Unforgettable memories for us.

Beautiful apartment. This season this Airbnb ticks all the boxes. It's a real paradise. We had a great week. You can't miss the sunrise over the sea. Access to the sea is a bit sporty and requires appropriate shoes, as recommended by Livia. But the pleasure is intense. The small beach of Acqua Viva a little further away is very popular but absolutely fabulous. The recommendations of nearby restaurants served us well. We used this address to spread the word throughout Salento. The hosts of the apartment downstairs were charming and quiet. We highly recommend it.

Antonello and his family went above and beyond for me and my guests during our stay. Angela was an amazing employee and I wish I could have an Angela for everywhere I go. The villa is magical and truly indescribable. You have to be there to experience it. The views are breathtaking and the village is quiet and precious.
