Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley

We stayed at this house for one night and it was one of the best nights we had on this road trip. The house is very nice and clean and full of amenities that made us feel like home! We love the golf simulator as well and it kept me and my kids busy for a while!! It also has a nice ocean view from the window and makes this place even better! The hose is super responsive and even gifted us a bottle of wine!! I would highly recommend and come back again!

Sarah’s house was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, comfortable and decorated well. The proximity to the ocean was an extra bonus and we enjoyed walking there each morning with coffee in hand. My 11 yr old niece LOVED the reading nook in the downstairs bedroom. The entire house was comfy especially the beds, kitchen well stocked for cooking and extra linens, towels, beach towels, and beach gear on hand. No A/C, but you get a cool ocean breeze all day long that keeps the noise to a comfortable temp. We have stayed at a handful of air bnb’s and this is our favorite. Wish we could have stayed longer. This is a really great spot and we would definitely stay here again! Jackie was a great host and the communication was excellent throughout our trip. The beds were nice, the house was clean, and the windows allow plenty of light to come in. The house is also well stocked with plenty of coffee, a variety of cooking and glassware, some and, some spices. The hosts have also prepared the house with games, toys, and small bowls and forks for kids. The backyard is also a really nice to hangout in and has a small yard that could be a great area for kids to run around as well. The house is in a quiet neighborhood that is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. There are also some nice restaurants, grocery stores, and cute shopping areas about a 5-10min drive away. Some areas in Santa Cruz have pretty hard water (including this spot) so if you aren't used to that grabbing some bottled water for your trip might be a good idea. We had a great time and highly recommend this spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jackie's beach house. The house was walking distance to all our favorite places to go. Honestly, we loved hanging out in the backyard too. The BBQ was perfect and ready to go. I wouldn't change a thing, it was perfect and we look forward to coming back again.

We had an amazing stay at Lisa's place. It is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown, beaches and hiking. They have done a beautiful job with the space. It feels like a boutique hotel. They have thought of everything! There were snacks, wine, coffee, travel size toiletries and even fresh flowers! Lisa is a generous and welcoming host and we would stay at their retreat again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed Troy's house and it was perfect for our big family with 3 kids under 5. The toys kept them entertained, we brought fire wood, and enjoyed a nice bonfire. Well kept house, very comfortable beds upstairs in the loft. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. My husband loved the outdoor shower, but the one inside was great too. We would go back again.

We enjoyed the beautiful location with an easy walk to the ocean and nearby nature bridges park. The home was clean, welcoming and comfortable and the bedroom layout worked great for our family. It includes nice amenities with the hot tub and fire pit outdoors. The host was very responsive and friendly!

Fabulous place. Would highly recommend to everyone. Dominique provides everything you could need and is always on hand to answer questions. The place is gorgeous and perfectly located. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Santa Cruz!

We loved our weekend at Jamie's amazing apartment in Capitola! It was so easy to walk to the beach and we loved hanging out in the beautiful backyard with our little one. Perfect spot for our little family's getaway to the beach!

Beautiful Stay and very helpful host! Great amenities and the sunset views are stunning. Plenty of parking and things to do in the area Will definitely try to be back!

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at Fidel’s place and it was truly a wonderful stay. It was very close to Monterey and Carmel. The apartment was well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom and everything was very nice and neat. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely book again!

Lovely stay for a few weeks! Clean, fully stocked, and pictures look exactly like the unit. The complex was quiet with security staff at night/early morning. Kathleen was quick to respond as well! Would def stay again.

Probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in in terms of being a clean, well stocked place. So many little details done right. Charging docks on all the night stands. A “did you forget anything” toiletry basket in the restroom. The well equipped kitchen and selection of coffee from Keurig to Nespresso. A lot of care was put into this home and it’s well worth the asking price. As far as location, proximity to the beach, and views - that is all self explanatory. I had an amazing time, and will certainly book again.

Nice hot tub and gas fireplace which we enjoyed every night! Our son is a surfer so we walked a couple blocks to the bluff to watch him. Great restaurants in the area and sites (surfing museum) to see. Abbot Square was a good venue to eat and enjoy music.

Our stay at Brookes home was great! The space was incredibly clean and comfortable. We felt very comfortable and safe. I wish I could have stayed longer, but the space was beautiful outside even after the storm. We had a small hiccup trying to get the lock to work, but Brooke was super fast with her response & helped us get in quickly. 10/10 would stay again!

Beautiful, tranquil redwood oasis just 25 minutes from Santa Cruz. Everything about this space was intentional from the softest linens and jacuzzi, to the gorgeous setting! Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at this cozy cabin in the Redwoods. What a beautiful location, of course the pictures do not do it justice. Literally nestled in the center of towering redwoods. The kids loved the swingset, art room, game room and of course exploring the yard for banana slugs. The cabin was much bigger than we expected, we definitely plan on returning in the future. We had THE BEST stay at Paige’s cabin in Felton. I can it say enough great things about Paige’s responsiveness and flexibility — from early check-in to allowing some friends to come over for a BBQ. Paige was so reasonable and accommodating, and super quick with her responses! The cabin itself was perfect for us. The proximity to Henry Cowell and downtown Felton couldn’t have been better. Surrounded by redwoods, with multiple outdoor seating options, this spot was exactly what we were looking for. We had fires in the wood burning stove in the chilly mornings and bonfires at night. The cabin is beautifully appointed, and the thoughtfulness and attention-to-detail was next level. We will be back! We’ve decided Paige’s cabin will be our place every time we’re in town. Thank you for such a great stay!
