Cabin holiday rentals in Angus

This is my second visit to the Farmer’s Cottage, and once again, I was blown away by the peace and tranquility. There have been some improvements to the site since my last visit, including a few new additions such as the boat and the camping pod. John and his team are always on hand to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible, and it was lovely to watch and chat with the young girls tending their horses. I will definitely return for more country walks, beautiful sunsets, and an uninterrupted night’s sleep. I would highly recommend it.

Krystian was a brilliant host, this was my first booking with Air BnB and the process from start to finish was perfect, the cabin we rented was very well kept and modern in. a brilliant location on a lovely site, I would 100% book again. thanks Krystian!

Amy and Angus were fantastic hosts. The cabin was lovely very remote and quiet. Excellent stay with my old dog just what we needed.

We had a lovely stay at Pondfauld Holidays. Mel was responsive, friendly and helpful - she even took time to plot out on a map a fab day trip for us! She looked out for us and met us when we drove in as well, which was lovely. The cabin exceeded expectations; it was warm, homely, had everything we needed, and the reclining chairs were a special treat! The location was peaceful and private - we had a lovely view of a paddock as well. The area is fab for walking/exploring/castling/wild swimming etc. We will definitely try to come again!

A gorgeous little hut in the middle of beautiful woodland. Woke up to a chorus of birds. Very well equipped and cosy for an off grid spot.

We had a great stay, we loved the location as it was accessible to local interests. Our party was mixed age group from 3 to 92 and we found the accommodation perfect, clean and well equipped. I would definitely book again, in fact Anna, my daughter may be in touch. Grandchildren were sad to leave. I asked them what was the best part of the holiday and they all said the trampoline 😍 Hope you enjoyed having us too? Phillipa x

Lovely stay, 2 adults and 2 kids with plenty space and great for the kids to get out and play. Paula’s place was clean, had everything you could need and that bit more! Would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well what can I say! We have just come back from a week’s stay, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The property itself was as described, so peaceful and in a beautiful setting overlooking wonderful countryside. The lodge had everything and more for our stay, with the added bonus of a hot tub which was maintained daily. The estate has a working farm, but do not be put off by this as we weren’t disturbed at all. The lodge itself was very soundproof and also even when everything was open you couldn’t hear a thing. Highly recommend the walk behind the lodge and ensure you venture up to the top and right as there is a beautiful lookout, a bench is available and on a lovely day a perfect spot for a snack or lunch. Not a long walk but totally worth it. We managed Balmoral (Loch Muick circular walk), Braemar, Aviemore, Pitlochry, Loch Tay, Carnoustie and the local area. Would highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing break. Thank you for a wonderful stay
