What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! This house is tucked in the jungle with loads of wildlife all around. There are other houses on the property, but they have preserved the gardens and jungle in such a fabulous way that you can’t even see any of the other houses. Felt super private. The plunge pool was absolutely delightful after we returned to the house. There are so many things close by, we especially love La Leyenda pizza restaurant. Which is just a short ride down the street in Playa Chiquita. Tine got back to me very quickly after each text I sent her. We will definitely stay here again!

We left Quinta extremely marvellous! It was a 1 week stay and I can say for sure, 1 week of peace! The place is extremely cozy, clean, beautiful and of an incredible vibe, not to mention the extreme hospitality that Cristina gave us. My tip for the next guests is: talk more with Cristina in addition to check-in or checkout, you will feel all the hospitality that my wife and I feel, in addition to receiving many tips of what to do on the island. Without a doubt we will repeat our stay on our next vacation. AMAZING 🙏🏽🍀♥️

Highly recommend this place to stay in Monteverde! The host was super welcoming when we arrived and was kind throughout. The place is as described with a beautiful view overlooking the mountains which allowed for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. To note, having a car or using taxi’s is most likely needed to stay here. There wasn’t really any restaurants or places to walk to without driving into the main township.

Fantastic. We were staying in Teresopolis for a few days and decided to spend a night in Petropolis. We found and booked this place. The location is perfectly in the historic town center. It’s a well operated bed and breakfast with free parking, walking distance to many things, quiet and we were even able to get some laundry done here, very reasonable. Next morning was an included breakfast. Pool also included.

This home is a fabulous getaway immersed in nature. We were offered a tasty breakfast by the pool overlooking the ocean and marina each day. We saw monkeys, Toucan, hummingbirds, and Macaws. Sandy, the owner’s daughter made our trip! She planned all our excursions, picked us up from the airport and served as a local guide. She has lived there her whole life and knows all best local spots. We love to immerse ourselves in the culture and learn about the country. She speaks English well, which also was a huge help at times. Driving around the area is not easy and sometimes you lose cell service, so it was so relaxing to have Sandy take care of all our transportation. I would not rent a car! I highly recommend staying in Quepos versus Manuel Antonio because the town is easy to walk to and safe.

This place is very good, we stayed two nights, good room, clean bed, hearty breakfast, we were amazed, pousada capitolio is a great option, for those who want to spend quiet days. I recommend it

Olga is absolutely lovely and amazing! The property is stunning and very well staffed. Olga gave us an extremely warm welcome and lined up transportation and activities for us. Our son had a stomach virus while we were there. She and her staff were BEYOND kind, helpful and accommodating. Olga has created a wonderful environment of community with her staff and guests. We cannot say enough good things! She also coordinated a boat tour to the Rosario Islands that was awesome! We would absolutely stay with Olga again, and you should as well!

It's an excellent place. We chose the Villa that includes breakfast, and it was the best decision. They have approximately eight breakfast options to choose from, all delicious and filling. There are options for vegetarians and vegans. To get to the beach, you only have to walk 100 meters to find a sign that says RIP Currents. Be careful, this applies to all Pacific beaches, not just Guasacate. You can swim to the left where there are more people. At night, you can have pizza at Viento Este, which is delicious.They only have pizza on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, if I'm not mistaken. There are other restaurants to the south. Popoyo is also nearby, where you can find restaurants like Oasis, The Salty Koala, and 99 Surf and Lodge. Mahalo also has dining options, and that's where I would recommend they improve by adding more vegetarian options. The staff is incredible; they help you with everything. The indoor parking lot is for three cars, but there's also space outside.

I'm in love with the place, besides being beautiful we were very well received, the affection and attention of the hostess were impeccable, everything was very clean and there was everything on site. I already want to go back!

Frana Lodge is a beautiful place, a real authentic hidden gem. The hike to the lodge is a little challenging with your bags, but well worth it! Crossing through the stream is actually refreshing on a hot day and adds to the whole experience of the location. Once you arrive, you can relax in the hammocks, greet the pets, and have a cold beer or a very tasty icy fresh fruit drink. The lodge itself is perfectly clean, offers spectacular views, lots of local trails, and it’s walking distance to Tayrona National Park. Franz took a lot of extra time talking to us about things to do on our short 3 night stay, offering suggestions including a really great local cocoa tour. He also arranged onsite massages. They offer breakfast & delicious dinners for a small fee. The food is 100% fresh and homemade. Lunch is not offered, but you can eat lunch when you’re out during the day nearby. It’s the perfect place to relax & get away. Thank you, Franz & staff.

We had an amazing experience in the accommodation. We were made to feel very welcome by the family, we feel very comfortable. My daughter even made new friends!! Space impeccably clean, organized, decorated and comfortable. The contact with nature is a differential in this accommodation. We had the privilege of a magnificent sunset on the property… beyond dawn with countless birds singing. It is a quiet place, ideal for resting. We will definitely return!!

I spent my last week in Salvador here and it was a great decision. Rebecca, Mauro and Nataly are fantastic hosts and went the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable. They are such warm people and the house radiates this same energy. The breakfasts were incredible - an abundant and healthy spread was prepared each morning on the verandah overlooking a bush of bougainvillea and the bay. If you are a sucker for detail and beautiful experiences then this is one you don’t want to miss out on. The view of the bay was spectacular at all hours of the day, and let’s not forget the bathtub to take it all in from. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom air conditioned. Ana was an excellent host. Very kind, attentive, good vibes, always willing to help... she has many positive adjectives! The bed is very comfortable, and the heaters make the stay super cozy. The guest room and bathroom were clean and equipped with everything you need, as well as the refrigerator, which was very useful. If you don't speak Spanish (as in our case), she will try to understand you and make herself understood. And there are two beautiful kittens! Ana, thank you!
