Mein 400jähriges Haus, auf dem Fundament eines Römer-Turms erbaut, war früher Teil eines Schlosses und ist voller Geschichte, Bücher, Kunst, Musik, Inspiration und Liebe. Willkommen im «The Artist's Castle», meinem Schloss Kunterbunt. Hier trifft Geschichte auf good vibes. Atme durch, sei du. Du willst kreieren? Atelier und Werkstatt warten auf dich. Mit Blick auf den Fluss in meiner historischen Oase im mittelalterlichen Eglisau.

Sunlit Timber Loft in Heritage Farmhouse

Unsere liebevoll ausgebaute Dachwohnung in einem Bauernhaus aus dem 16.Jh. ist ruhig und zentral gelegen. Bei ausgedehnten Spaziergängen in schönen Wäldern oder am idyllischen Rheinufer mit seinen zahlreichen Badeplätzen kannst du dich erholen. In 5 min erreichst du zu Fuß Restaurants, Supermärkte, Schwimmbad und Bahnhof. Jestetten ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Ausflugsziele wie den Schwarzwald, Bodensee/Konstanz, Zürich und die Alpen. Züge nach Zürich und Schaffhausen fahren halbstündlich.

Trailer on the farm

Our lovingly converted construction trailer is in an idyllic location on our farm near the horses. It is green and blooming all around this small, cozy place and at the same time you are right in the hustle and bustle of a farm. You will find peace and nature, but you will be in Winterthur in 15 minutes. There are 2 shared toilets, but no shower. The construction trailer is equipped with a cozy 1.40 x 2 m bed and seating, as well as heating and drinks.

Stylishly furnished, in a former farmhouse, in a quiet village. The spacious apartment on the first floor has a bedroom with a double bed, an attic room with 3 beds and a separate bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with cooktop, oven and microwave. The coffee maker and the morning sun let you start your day well. The patio invites you to relax. The rural setting is perfect for getting sick and unwinding. toys for children.

Modern room on farm, private seating

We are a family who runs the farm ourselves and look forward to welcoming guests in our specially furnished guest room. A dog and cats as well as a few chickens currently live on our farm. We are also constantly thinking about acquiring more animals. There are numerous dirt roads for hikes. The Thur and the Rhine are within reach and beautiful bike tours can be made. We are happy to help with planning activities.

Spacious, rural and close to the airport

​Located in rural Hochfelden, Zurich Airport can be reached in 15 minutes by car and the city in 40 minutes. Alternatively, a bus runs regularly to the Bülach train station. From there, there are direct connections to Zurich and the airport (about 45 minutes travel time). For a more comfortable arrival and departure, I also offer a paid shuttle service to Zurich and City Airport.
