Very simple, clean, and comfy. At the time of this review, one of the neighbors seems to have some pretty vocal dogs that you’ll be able to hear clearly but that didn’t bother us at all. I feel they have a right to speak up in this world as they please. But if that sort of thing bothers you, it’ll be worth taking note of this. (There was a tub of ear plugs by the bed if needed.) No issues with the place. Would recommend!

I stayed here for two weeks and wish it could have been longer! Quiet, morning sun streaming through the French doors, lounging on the deck with my morning tea to watch the birds.Very quiet, an excellent place to get some work done. I'm not an artist, but this is indeed a unique opportunity to stay in an artist's studio, well equipped and ready for one to begin drawing and painting. Denise is the best host ever!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful space. Amazing location, in a cozy, peaceful and private little bungalow. We loved everything about our stay and just had the best, most relaxing time listening to the birds and making our way through the eclectic record collection. So much to see and do in the area and this turned out to be the perfect central spot between Santa Cruz and the redwoods and Monterey and bay.

The location is a destination in and of itself! Gorgeous property with cozy and homey furnishings. The linens were fresh and smelled so good! Beautiful views everywhere you look inside the suite. They event out pillows in the bench next to the window so you can gaze and watch the sunset. My favorite part is the garden swing next to the orange tree. The hot tub is luxurious as well—great for a couples retreat or break from the busy city
