Family-friendly holiday rentals in Amersfoort

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

very nice stay at Jolanda in the safari tent. very responsive host, very friendly, and so nice we could buy from her some food as we did dare to go shopping after a day of cycling. beautiful and peaceful place...i will come back for sure.

We had a great time in Epe, a very relaxing environment with a beautiful house. 2 Bedrooms with double beds, lovely terrace and a wonderful hot tub. You can order breakfast and also get some of the farm life if you want. There are cats running around, donkeys in front of the cottage and there is a shop that is open 24/7. We will definitely come back!

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easy to reach. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

Plenty of room, quiet neighborhood. The M5 bus made our commute to Train then Amsterdam easier. (Approx 1 hour). Loved the 2 free bikes available for us to use. The sauna was a lovely bonus to use at night to relax. Moniek’s was resourceful and actively answering our questions. Alot of gadget in the house, no cable on TV so it was hard for my elderly parents to figure out how to use an intelligent tv with Netflix and all but we managed differently. Area was really nice close to the house but Almere centrum gets a bit suspicious at night so be aware to not be a women alone at night coming back -even locals fidy not recommended.

What a fun experience! And what a terrific host! In a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. To say we got to stay on a houseboat in Amsterdam is always going to be a fun memory! But note, it is definitely a boat. You must be fully able bodied to access the boat and get around comfortably inside. The kitchen is suitable for snacks. And as with most European AirBnBs, bring your own bath products.

This is our second stay and we loved it even more than the first. Ella constantly goes above and beyond to make things just so we notice lots of little details including soap that was toddler friendly, fresh flowers, and some little welcome treats all waiting for us … but the most amazing treat was a little pull along toy that was age-appropriate for our toddler Very flexible and accommodating with checking in and check out and we are most grateful for that extra flexibility and kind We couldn’t recommend Ella or her home more highly we will be back again

Great place! Private and peaceful. 10 minutes from a forest. 15 minute bus into city centre. Between city and nature. Perfect!

The communication in the run-up to my stay with Marian was very pleasant. I was able to coordinate my arrival time, because my schedule depended on many factors until the last minute. I received a warm welcome on arrival and a nice tour of the cozy accommodation. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and once back it was wonderful to relax in the quiet space in a quiet environment. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade yogurt and a super delicious boiled egg. Marian is a real superhost in my opinion!

We, Hennie, the dogs and I had a wonderful Ascension weekend at the sheepfold. The sheepfold is surrounded by lots of greenery and animals and a seat by the pond, a wonderful place to relax. The sheepfold is a cozy cottage and equipped with every comfort. We were very surprised by a well-stocked fridge with lots of fresh fruit, tasty cheese and even a glass of wine. The WiFi works perfectly. Our four-legged friends were very welcome and enjoyed all the greenery and animals. Anthonie provided a warm welcome and we can look back on a few fantastic days. We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful, peaceful home for a month during our relocation. Constance and Michael gave us the warmest, homely welcome after our difficult and long trip overnight. The house is perfect for a family with plenty of space - even a private office which allowed us to work from home! The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The kitchen is newly renovated and made cooking and preparing meals a breeze. There is a lovely little laundry area (separate to the house) which is a must with little kids. The house is walking distance to the local shops and about a 20min walk to the train station. Thank you Constance and Michael for making our first introduction to the Netherlands so special!

A beautiful, classic and artistically decorated Dutch farmhouse on the edge of a gorgeous village surrounded by greenery and nature. The home had everything you need to feel immediately at home and comfortable with a a sense of quality and style. Fabulous backyard for the dog/kids and for the humans to enjoy drinks. Be prepared for the Dutch stairs! Some really lovely dining experiences on the doorstep and an easy walk. Bikes are also on offer for the full local experience. Huub was just charming...

A week of relaxation among the bustling birds. In rainy weather, there is plenty of space inside and in fine weather, a very pleasant garden to sit in. There is plenty to do in the area, shops are close by. Everything is available to cook for yourself. Baking pizza in the pizza oven was also fun to do. Definitely recommended. We felt at ease.

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

Simple but nice cottage with a pleasant atmosphere. We liked the wooded area. No unnecessary luxury, just good. And the contact with the host was great.

We stayed a long weekend in this beautiful accommodation. In the middle of the forest, in peace and quiet. Swimming pool and playground around the corner, but unfortunately too bad weather to enjoy it. Parking space in front of the door and a beautiful private garden (where we spotted squirrels!) with outdoor furniture. Inside the cottage, it is spotless and truly everything is present: from a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful shower to a full cupboard full of books, toys, DVDs and a cot and high chair for our baby. Beautiful interior full of details. Wonderful to unwind in all luxury; that is possible in the accommodation of Berrie and Brenda. Highly recommended!

This was a real special find! The 3 days we spent in Zeewold were amazing. We had a group of 10 friends, and we had a great time at this unique mansion. Everything was ready for us, the house is fantastic, the surroundings are very unique, the place is comfortable, quiet, with lots of home feelings. We were able to cook inside, ride the boat, play in the garden. We were a bit apprehensible because we were organizing this for a large group, with people coming from many countries, and we had never been to Zeewold before. Yet, the hosts helped out with clear information and sending all the details we needed. Not related to the house itself, but the Asian restaurant nearby is amazing (very recommended) and the city is close by for dinner, online orders and shopping. Two things we heard from people in the group: "when we came back next year..." and "this house is already our house, let's reserve it now!" So, looks like we will be back next year! Thank you!

Steven was absolutely amazing! The boat is lovely and well situated and he went absolutely above and beyond to help us out on our stay - he even brought us out on his tugboat for a test run! Could not recommend enough thank you so much for our stay 😊😊

Magdalena welcomed us very kindly and lovingly took care of us. Although we did not book breakfast, she provided us with bread and other treats. The apartment matches the description, the location is beautiful. We will be happy to come back!
