Griffin - The Lake Superior Riverboat

The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. Friends become family here. Come and become a part of the Griffin’s story!

This retreat offers the scenery of wildlife inside or outdoors. You have the chance to see zebras, bison, camels, and much more! Elk and water buffalo love to take a swim in the pond that Elk Ridge overlooks as well. Enjoy the natural scenery in the evening around a firepit on the waterfront deck. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets and morning coffee from the deck. Spring-fed, super clean Big Fish Lake is excellent for swimming and fishing. Rowshell stays docked. 5G WiFi, TV, Netflix, AC, free use of 2 kayaks, firewood, and many other creature comforts. We can't host dogs - no exceptions.

The Houseboat on Tybee Island

Located at the Tybee Island Marina on Lazaretto Creek, along the western boundary of Tybee Island, The Houseboat offers spectacular sunrise and sunset views nestled in a serene spot between the beach on Tybee or a day exploring Savannah. Due to its location on a floating dock in a tidal creek, with low tides making for a difficult/steep transition between the floating and stationary docks, The Houseboat is not ideal for guests with mobility issues.

Iatt Lake Cabins and Kayaks House Boat

Houseboat on quiet and serene lake. No running water on boat but bathroom is close by. Pets are allowed for a $50 non-refundable fee. Pets must be kenneled if left inside alone, on a leash at all times when outside. and please pick up after your pets. Kayak, paddle boat and pirogue rentals including life jackets and paddles available. Kayak rental - $35/day each or $60/2 days each. Paddleboat, pirogue or tandem kayak rental - $45/day or $70/2 days.

This tiny houseboat sits permanently on a boat lift, so you will have the unique experience of being over water without the risk of sea sickness! Located in the heart of quaint Solomons Island, this is a great stay if you love being near the water. Unparalleled views from your private porch. Please note, due to extensive pet damage we have changed this property to strictly no animals. You will be asked to leave if you arrive with a pet.
