The Stöckelkeller is the former tavern in the village of Unternschreez near Bayreuth. The university is 10 minutes away by car, the city centre 15 minutes and the festival hall 20 minutes. You will be staying on 29 square meters (13 sqm of living & cooking; 11 sqm sleeping; 5 sqm bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment as we like to travel ourselves. The house is located directly next to the small Margrave Castle Schreez.

Relax between the Fichtel Mountains and Franconian Switzerland, experience culture in nearby Bayreuth, feel good in our new and biologically renovated apartment!!! Our granny apartment is on the 2nd floor of our house and has a separate entrance. The fully equipped kitchen is available to the renter completely alone. A house with history - built in 1860 as a royal forestry building Mähring, it was sensitively restored in several thousand hours of work. Enjoy the wonderfully idyllic area as a base for trips to Neualbenreuth, Pilsen, Marienbad, Karlovy Vary, Eger, Waldsassen and many more attractive destinations in the area. We are happy to share that part of the world with them.

The apartment is located in a former Franconian farm, the Engelschanze, on the edge of the forest in the most beautiful area of Franconian Switzerland. In the Engelschanze there are 2 separate apartments, which can also be booked as a unit for 8-10 people. A large garden can be used by all guests.
