Highland Cabin in the heart of Cairngorms

AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The chalet was absolutely spotless and everything as new. It was extremely comfortable and so well equipped with everything you need and much more. The quality of the crockery and glassware and utensils was of a very high standard which makes self catering a wee bit more special!. Lovely quiet site within walking distance of hotel and restaurants. Furniture on decking just lovely and a barbecue a bonus.Unfortunately it was a bit of a wet weekend so didnt get used.Bedding spotless and again good quality. Wi fi more rapid than at home! An excellent place to stay. Safe decking for dogs and nice area just across from park where the dogs could get a wee run in the woods. Plenty boardgames etc for children( and adults) to play. Host Zoe was an excellent corresponder though we had no reason to contact her once there. Photos do not do the chalet justice. It was just a perfect break in lovely surroundings inside and outside chalet.

Little Birch Cabin (STL licence number Hl-70188-F)

LizRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Little birch cabin exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate, cosy and in a stunning location surrounded by trees. If you love wildlife, then this is the place to be! Chris has hung up many bird feeders in the garden, so a lot of our time was spent sitting on the sofa watching the 20 different species of bird we counted. We left peanuts out each night for mr badger & our trail camera picked him up between 11.30pm & 3am. Luckily the night we stayed up he came at 11.30. Earlier in the year he comes a lot earlier we were told. The camera picked up the pine marten one night too and we had a few visits from the red squirrel who was a joy to watch. There are many wildlife hotspots in the area, including RSPB Insh marshes which is only 10mins away & Loch Insh- look out for Osprey! Red & Roe deer & hare are dotted around the roads to the cabin. The kitchen was modern & had everything you could need and more. Everything worked efficiently. Thanks Chris for welcoming us to this haven.

The Birdhouse Aviemore peaceful 1 bed with garden

JuliuszRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Gayle is an amazing host - friendly, responsive, thoughtful. Her house is beautiful. I loved the birds, and took great pleasure in watching them visit the bird feeders. Her place is well located - private, with parking, and easy to get to - and out and about. I will most definitely be looking to book again.

Amazing well-equipped house, even better than it looks in the photos. Idyllic location, surrounded by nature and wildlife, with Aviemore only a short drive away. Would highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again!

Libertus Lodge. A secluded Cabin in Gorthleck.

ChristineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Al built this fabulous lodge himself, it is simply stunning inside with glorious views of the countryside from the terrace, it is a tranquil and beautiful location. So quiet and peaceful, truly relaxing, very comfortable bed and stylish interior, spotlessly clean. Al was very helpful with his knowledge of the area and made us feel very welcome indeed, nothing was too much trouble. Spotting the deer and red kites along with a hare and lots of birds was great fun. Highly recommend, this is a very special place.

Essich Park - 3BR - Hot Tub - Sleeps 6

JamesRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
George's place is unbelievable, by far the nicest Air BnB I have stayed at. House is pristine and has everything you could want for a few days away. Views out of the large sitting room windows we're great and the view from the hot tub over looking the alpacas and down onto inverness even better. George was a great host, incredibly responsive and interactive in providing suggestions for things to do, places to see and food suggestions. Overall I would give more stars than 5 if it was possible.
