Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Alum Creek

This is the best place to stay for the price. Anytime it’s available, I book it. The home has everything you could need. The shower is great, beds are comfortable and very friendly neighbors.

Overall the stay was pleasant. The parking was great, it was convenient to get into downtown Columbus. The place itself was very clean, and everything worked in the house. Our only issues were the walls were very thin, so we could hear everything outside, even people just having a conversation normally, and the door gave us some issues (which we did know about).

The Union Jack was a combination of the Chamber of Commerce welcoming you to the home and a museum of intriguing items. The refrigerator is painted in vibrant colors of the Union Jack flag, scales in the kitchen, the old postal big clock to more. A must see place. We felt at home. This is a smart home so felt very safe with security, entering to playing music throughout the house. Kitchen has everything one needs to cook or bake plus condiments and so much more. We enjoyed the peace and quiet even though on a busy street. Take a walk around the area to see the unique architecture of the homes. Very friendly people in the area. We definitely plan to come back. Nice to unwind and say ahhhhhhh at The Union Jack.

Great Place!

Too many wonderful things to say about this place, so I’ll just focus on what is most important to me. It was spotless and so very clean. The beds were amazing. The sheets and pillows and towels and all the stuff that should be fresh, ready to go and hygienic, were. Clean bathroom. Gorgeous decor. Smells fresh. Beautiful neighborhood.

Had a good overnight stay. Greg was helpful and allowed for much privacy.

My bestie and I stayed here for a weekend and felt more than comfortable and right at home. Location was close to just about everything which was perfect. But the space was beautiful we loved our stay!

Great for my purposes - overnight pitstop on a road trip. Off street parking in a city is hard to come by, so with a car full of gear I really appreciated that feature. Kendrick was detailed and responsive, and elevated the experience with little details like bottled water and travel size soaps and toothbrush.

Sarah is such a great host! This Airbnb is a cute hidden gem! Bonus points because Starbucks was just 1 min walk away. Definitely made it feel like home.

Great spot! It’s a great location for multiple groups to come to! Loved that the furniture/bed didn’t feel cheap! That’s always a bonus for us! We are looking forward to coming back!

The decorations in this home is what made it for me. There are small accents of gold and black everywhere, and combined with all the beautiful greenery made it such a beautiful environment. The only thing I would change was that it was literally right off the highway (so you can imagine the traffic and car sounds that may occasionally occur), but that’s a personal thing, hence the five star rating. Sergio was an amazing host and was very nice throughout the whole thing, even calling to make sure everything was going well. 11/10 will be booking again.

I had a wonderful stay. I decided to have a shirt staycation and this was exactly what I needed. It was clean and extremely comfortable and everything was very walkable.

We loved Ashley's place! It is spacious and airy, yet warm and inviting. I have my own short-term rental property, so I am super picky about cleanliness and other issues, and Ashley's was a 10 out of 10 for those key metrics. The location was extremely convenient -- it is on the edge of the German Village and a short drive to other areas of interest (e.g., the Columbus Museum of Art (which I highly recommend) and the Short North area). Ashley was also the perfect host, responding immediately when I asked for recommendations and greeting us with a personal note and a packaged snack, as well as the biggest coffee supply I have ever seen in a short-term rental. This is definitely where I would try to stay if I ever come back to Columbus. We also were delighted to find that there was no reason to go up the spiral stairs (the bedroom and bathroom are on the same floor as the living area, which I wasn't 100% sure of from the pictures).

Ms. Shan was very quick on response my concerns and clearly with her instructions. I would recommend this place for a couple that likes to go out and explore Columbus downtown.

Jessie's place was perfect. Check in was easy. When we walked in, you could smell the cleanliness! The location was great. We were close to restaurants and a nice grocery store. The location is also close enough to downtown so that we could catch an Uber reasonably enough to avoid dealing with parking. I would definitely book Jessie's place again.

great convenient place to stay. keep your phone on you when leaving the place so you have code to get in to both doors.

We loved the location. We walked to High Street for dinner and drinks. We also loved the outdoor areas and enjoyed drinks on the balcony. It was so nice!

Juliana....thank you for being a nice host and easy to get along with. My son and I enjoyed your place while in town for his baseball tournament. Close to everything including the baseball fields. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the colorful neighborhood!

We had a great stay at this cozy spot in a vibrant part of Columbus! As first-time visitors, it gave us an awesome feel for the city—close to great food, parks, and fun local energy. The nearby park was perfect for morning walks and runs, and we appreciated how everything was within easy reach. As mentioned in the listing, the street noise is definitely present, but the white noise machine helped us sleep comfortably. Communication with the host was clear and helpful throughout. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to explore Columbus!

Highly recommend this condo! We booked this condo last minute and Andy made sure we had everything we needed before we checked in. The property was very clean and had a lot of cool amenities. Looking forward to booking again in the future when we are back in the area for work. Thanks Andy.
