It was built as a maker's studio, so it's great for small retreats for sewers, knitters, and scrapbookers, as well. It is not suitable for those with difficulty climbing stairs.

Central & Shady Location! Location! Location!

Yellow Springs is a welcoming community to all races, cultures, sexual orientations. This is a comfortable, clean, old-fashioned home (quintessential YS), two blocks from downtown. It is a lived in home at the times Airbnb guests are not visiting. The neighborhood pleasant, quiet and safe. A separate small family apartment is attached to the Airbnb, similar to a duplex. Soundproofing between units maintains privacy. Please respect my home and neighborhood. No loud partying or loud music.

Possibly the most charming home in Yellow Springs, one block to downtown. No expense was spared in restoring and renovating this 1800's cottage, with charming iron pane windows, original wood floors, screened porch, and fireplace. We lovingly renovated the kitchen, bathrooms and upstairs ensuite bed and bath. Two queen beds, luxurious linens, towels, fully equipped kitchen with Viking range, stainless steel appliances, & marble countertops. Not suitable for children under 12.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the River House! All the little touches; with the welcome snacks, the amenities, and how amazingly clean the house was made everything so nice. We were blown away by this AirBnB! The interior was impeccably appointed with every little amenity thought of. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The area was quiet within steps to a trailhead in beautiful Clifton Gorge. The hosts were super helpful and communicative but not at all intrusive. We are planning to come back asap!

Great place! Everything was clean and fresh, and looked new. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom shower was insane. Very fancy. You can tell the owner really cares about this place and wants the guests to feel at home. Everything you would need for cooking, they even include a fully stocked spice rack. I would move right in if I could.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very clean. The backyard was beautiful. We enjoyed using the fire pit and the hot tub. The bed is very comfortable. The house is cutely decorated. It had a really cool vibe. It was easy to walk to restaurants in lots of hiking nearby.

This place is an absolute gem — just as gorgeous as the photos (maybe even better in person!). It’s got this warm, feel-good energy that made us relax the second we walked in. Super clean, super cozy, and in a really sweet neighborhood. We were in town to hang out with friends in Yellow Springs, and the drive wasn’t bad at all — totally worth it for such a comfy home base. The beds and pillows? Chef’s kiss — so comfy we joked that we might’ve been the first people to ever sleep there! All in all, a fantastic stay. We’d come back in a heartbeat! 💛
