Holiday rentals with a pool in Alto Alentejo

The place was idyllic and peaceful. Very suitable for two adults and two dogs. The fence surrounds a beautiful yard and the apartment was wonderfully personal. The fireplace burned trees every night because the evenings were cool and it brought a lovely vibe. Carlos was super when he brought us more trees when we ran out of firewood. The photos matched the apartment and yard well. It was a good value.

We liked it very much. At the property, the gigantic pool in particular is a highlight as well as the quiet location in the nature with a view. The property and cottage is a bit outdated, but very authentic. You can reach many great beaches, cliff hiking trails, as well as the very beautiful fishing village of Sesimbra in a short time by car. We also took day trips to Lisbon and Sintra. Host Barbara was extremely helpful, friendly and straightforward. Thank you!

This was an absolute dream house I deeply loved! Such a treat to enjoy this incredible home in such a perfect location in Ericeira. Gorgeous sunset views. Walkable to the beach. The coziest and beautifully designed lounge spaces. Great for working and studying or entertaining. Kitchen has everything that you need! Loved the dining room, sun room, and outdoor spaces. I’d move into this home. It has just the best energy and is perfect for families. Elizabeth is the BEST host as well! She goes above and beyond in catering to guest needs and is so easy to adore 🥰 I’ve stayed in all of her listings because I just love the aesthetic of her homes that she’s created and she is the dearest most genuine pure soul 💖 Thank you again for such a warm and wonderful welcome for this month I’ve had in Carvoeira/Ericeira! Annemie is a wonderful and generous host who couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. The house is in an amazing location, up in the hills with beautiful views and bird song. Pool wonderful and kitchen well equipped. We had a great few days. Thank you 🙏🏼

This is our second stay at this property. It is situated in a lovely area below the hilltop medieval town of Castelo de Vide. The grounds are spectacular with trees, plants, rock work and charming details. There are several exterior spaces for quiet reflection as well as dining. There are views both large and small. A rooftop terrace is perfect for morning coffee accompanied by chirping birds, the tinkling of bells from the necks of sheep grazing near by, and the sound of the fountain feeding the pool. Or for cocktails at sunset. It is heaven! The house is quite large, with ample space for gathering both indoors and out. Suzanne, the hostess, is very responsive and helpful with suggestions about places to see, local restaurants and events. We will be back.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

We spent a wonderful time at Cristina's beautiful house. There is a lot to explore in the neighbourhood - very nice beaches, beautiful views at the oceans, close to Sesimbra and Lisabon - a perfect stay for some days. The house was very convenient for a family with two teenagers. They had their own rooms and separate bath. It is very nicely furnished and has very private touch, which we very much liked. Cristina's parents welcomed us and gave us helfpul advices on the area. She was very responsive whenever we had a problem. I can highly recommend Cristina's place and would are considering coming back in summer time.

Very responsive host with very detailed instructions, making it easy to check into apartment. The apartment is exactly as described and per the pictures convenient parking, which was also included with very helpful.

What an amazing stay we had as a family of four at Daniel’s place. He was willing to meet us there late and go over everything we felt like we would need to know about the home. It’s very spacious with outdoor living spaces as well. Centrally located between Lisbon and Sintra made it easy to get anywhere you want to be within 15 minutes. Daniel was very responsive and extremely friendly. I would absolutely stay there again! Thanks again Daniel for helping us make some wonderful family memories!

Very nice apartment and convenient location, just a short walk from the town centre and the beach. The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Sandra is a lovely host and I will definitely be staying at her place again when in Eriçeira.

Carlos and Conceição were super accommodating and helpful. I needed a place to stay very last minute and they helped me out quickly, were super flexible and made the process very easy for me, which I am very thankful for. About the apartment: it has a great location that gives privacy, peace and a great view (ocean view and both sunrise and sunset views from the different balconies!), but is still in walking distance to the towns center. It was very clean, had all amenities one would need. The building also has a parking lot, which was very convenient for me. All in all I recommend this place highly, great apartment and responsive, welcoming and helpful hosts.

We had a great short stay. The setting with the pool at the rear facing onto the beach is spectacular.

This apartment will be my go to provided it is available when I’m in Lisbon again, it is very convenient, close to shops, restaurants and amenities. You can walk or get an uber from here easily, the apartment was clean and had a lovely view, it had everything you need as I did a longer stay such a washing machine, iron etc. I felt as if I was in my own home, the storage space was also perfect for me as I needed to unpack 2 weeks worth of clothing. 10/10 recommend to everyone.

Spectacular experience! From the time of booking to check-out, Mrs. Sonia and Mr. Rui were impeccable with us. Always very attentive and responsive to any questions we had. The house itself is spectacular and matches the description/photographs. We were super happy with the choice and the conditions. The location of the condominium is very good. It's in a quiet place and 20 minutes from the big hypermarkets. The neighborhood is super friendly, and access to the pool is definitely a bonus. All this culminated in a great week of vacation! Definitely an experience to repeat. I highly recommend Mrs. Sónia and Mr. Rui to anyone who wants to visit Tomar and/or take a relaxing vacation, far from the chaos of the city!

In our stay Mr. Ricardo was flawless. We were very welcome at the accommodation, not to mention the perks that were given to us upon arrival, have a thorough attention to detail, left a basket of varied and necessary food for cooking, along with a lovely gift magnet. During the entire stay, there was a lot of accessibility to talk to srRarks, which is always available for anything we need. We are left, on behalf of the owners, a basket with fresh bread every morning. The place itself is cared for and super welcoming, a different and super pleasant experience, much of this part given to the owners. I recommend it, and it will be to repeat!

We had an amazing stay at Teresa and Rui’s beautiful home! The house exceeded our expectations—it’s even more stunning than the photos and came fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. We especially loved the location; it’s nestled in a peaceful, private area, yet just a short drive or Uber ride away from great local restaurants and attractions. Teresa and Rui were wonderful hosts—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!

We had an incredible stay at Susan's property. The former caretakers house was immaculate. Super clean, super comfortable, and included wonderfol amenities. Susan was the perfect hostess and incredibly generous and caring to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool, walking through the fruit trees, and using the BBQ. The property is truly special and we are so grateful we had a chance to stay there and experience it.
