Beachfront holiday rental in Alto Alentejo

It was a week that exceeded our expectations. 10 minutes from the beach, our daily life was complete with the tranquility and peace that only Alentejo can provide. I am very grateful to Mr. Luis for the great conversation and for Mr. Vitor's readiness to help us with what we needed. I recommend 10/10!

Everything as imagined, good amenities and nice area. Check in was flexible. Only thing I always find difficult with air bnb is that you pay a cleaning fee but are asked to take the trash outside.

Well, what can we say, the best Airbnb we have stayed at. Perfect spot on the beach, perfect host! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine (😊), some fantastic local info and such a proactive host in Angelina. She gave us a great option for our day trip into Lisbon (only 40 minutes away by bolt & ferry), great restaurant options and also gave us some fresh lemons and eggs from her organic farm! We have stayed at many airbnb’s but have to say, Angelina was by far the best host we have had. If we ever come back to Portugal, we will definitely stay here again!

A beautiful beach house directly on the sea, which is very lovingly furnished with many details. A small beach paradise equipped with everything e.g. surfboards, sandal stuff, coffee, shampoo, spices ...The surf lessons, sunsets right in front of the terrace, beach bars, countless shells, falling asleep overlooking the sea and the sound of the sea... Thank you for this unforgettable time, for the friendly communication and the special souvenir☀️

Compact, cozy and clean two-storey apartment, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday. The house is located in an authentic, narrow and quiet street, one minute walk from the beach, the boulevard and restaurants. We fell in love with Nazaré at first sight! 😍

João’a place is absolutely as advertised. We rented for a month and could stay all year. The view is better than anywhere in town. Perfect location if you like to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Walkable to many beaches. Amenities were great. Not a single thing to complain about. Thanks João, we’ll be back!

We had an amazing stay at Carlos' villa with our group of 13 adults and 3 babies. The villa is incredibly spacious, with 12 full beds and additional sleeping options on the comfortable couches. The large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spacious, clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was slightly used but very functional, offering plenty of room and every kitchen item we could possibly need to cook for our group. The barbecue area is large, though located a little far from the kitchen by the parking area. The rooftop terrace provided stunning 360° views, and the sunsets were simply beautiful. The villa is located in a peaceful, quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is ideal for reaching larger supermarkets, which are about a 13-minute drive away. Parking offers plenty of space Overall, this villa was the perfect choice for our large group. Highly recommended!

Very nice house, in a peaceful area with beautiful ocean view. Great for a change of scenery. A good distance from Sintra, a listed city. The only problem is the weather. It wasn't the best week to soak up the sun and pool, due to cold and rainy weather this week.

For me, it was a wonderful week overall. The apartment is functional and cozy at the same time. And comparatively very spacious. Gonçalo is a particularly good host. Always and quickly accessible. He responds clearly and is attentive to the traveler. During my stay, there was construction work in neighboring apartments, which was carried out during the day but naturally not done in a whispering manner. He responded immediately and quickly proposed a good solution. The noise on Friday and Saturday from the bar on the ground floor mentioned in other feedback was barely noticeable and did not bother me at all. I'll be happy to come back!

We had a great stay at this property. The host is really lovely and communicates to make check in and check out as easy as possible. The area is lovely however not much going on in terms of restaurants and bars so would definitely recommend having a car. Can’t fault the cleanliness of the house. Was a great stay and would recommend.

Very pleasant house for a larger family with children and lots of sports equipment. Spacious with facilities to accomodate all needs - storage, cleaning, drying, cooking, relaxing. Clean and cleaned at no additional cost in the middle of the stay. Very nice host who remembers and fulfills promises and cares of guests´well-being even if requests beyond standard - in our case need for softer mattress due to back problems. Very quick and easy communication. ***** for the place and one more extra * for Rogerio :-)

We had an amazing time at Magnus’ place. Such a beautiful setting and property. Any issues we had, Magnus was quick to resolve and was extremely friendly. He had some great advice for the local area. Would love to go back again one day.

We had a wonderful time at Ricardo‘s place. It’s close to the beach, grocery store, restaurants and the house is situated on a large property with a pool in the back. I look forward to coming back in the summer! Ricardo was great as a host and Pedro was incredibly helpful to figure things out and provide local recommendations.

The house corresponds exactly to the pictures. The pool was really heated, which is always a positive surprise (often the ad promises heated pool but then does not materialize). The house was very well prepared to accommodate eight guests, at the level of living areas, crockery and towels. But it would be helpful to have a bathroom with extra shower. Communication with the host was very easy. We could have a late check out at an affordable price. The São Martinho do Porto area is beautiful, and very close to the house we had fantastic views of the bay.

We loved our stay at Gonçalo's place. Beautiful, tranquil and chic, the space was the perfect hideaway for our vacation in Comporta. Close to all the beaches, restaurants and everything the area has to offer. The large, lofty and airy space is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork, lovely furniture and small touches. The large eating and many sitting areas inside and out offered lots of options to lounge, relax, read a book or nap. Notably, Gonçalo is a cool and interesting guy. He gave us insider recommendations for hidden beaches we would have never discovered on our own. A special treat was Gonçalo's assistant Inês who made our stay incredible. She welcomed us warmly, took care of small requests, offered advice on local restaurants, and even hand picked fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden! Thank you Inês for making us feel at home! Highly recommend staying here if your looking for a chic and designer space in Comporta.

A lovely small house overlooking the estuary across from Porto Covo. It is not intended to be hugely luxurious but had everything we needed for a highly enjoyable stay. Wonderful views, good walking from the door and shops/restaurants 2-3 mins away. I would definitely return if I had an opportunity.

Excellent location for those looking to disconnect and enjoy nature

We enjoyed our stay at Maria’s so much. It was beautiful, very clean, walking distance to the shops and restaurants. She even left us a delicious treat in Halloween! She was extremely responsive and always helpful. The kitchen had everything you need to cook proper meals and then some. Would absolutely come back.

Sandra is a super host, communication was very easy, the check-in and checkout was done very efficiently. We are a group of 6-7 golfers that have stayed within the Praia Del’Rey resort for a number of years and Sandra’s villa one of the best, if not the best, we have stayed-in throughout the years - immaculately clean, spacious rooms with plenty of of bathrooms and nice garden with swimming pool (plus useful pool and garden furniture). Highly recommended - value for money is second to none,

This is a great place as it’s near the beach. Alvaro was responsive & an excellent communicator. We stayed mid-April during a heavy rainy season so I suspect the place hadn’t been occupied for awhile. The kitchen spices were quite old / gone bad & there were no dish towels or paper towels for our 2 night stay but Alvaro was very apologetic and dropped off dish towels / replacement salt and pepper after I let him know. The house is situated on a public beach that anyone can access - just a short 5-7 min walk through the beautiful dunes. Absolutely Gorgeous! We would return again when the weather was more cooperative!
