Holiday rentals with breakfast in Alto Alentejo

Domingo and his wife Olinda are absolutely gems that I will always treasure in my Heart! I had a lot of questions initially before booking and they were kind to answer everything I needed to know! My stay was super peaceful, the little house was cool on a warm summers day and I slept very good in the bed! It was a blessing to receive home grown yummies from the farm (Potatoes, tomato, apples, grapes, herbs...) and I took some walks into the stunning nature behind the house. I would return there in a heartbeat. The only thing I did not check before booking (which turned out to be a good thing) was that theres NO WIFI - this would't bee something for working travelers that rely on good internet. Also I'd only book in the summer as theres only one coal oven in the kitchen but no other heating in bedroom. This stay is ideal with car. I stayed 5 days without car and I was so grateful that Olinda took me with her to farmers market and supermarket so I had enough food for my stay :) Loved it

Maria is really great. Has very personal attention to her guests. We were given various local specialities. And we had really good conversations. We really felt at home, had to leave "unfortunately" because of our work. Otherwise, we would have stayed longer. We'll come back again.

Peaceful and easy access place with parking close to Nazaré by car. Total disconnection, the place is ideal for people looking to be away from cities and quiet. The room with terrace that we had been beautiful (tastefully decorated), clean and large that can accommodate up to 5 guests. Home located in a wooded garden with a pool, super nice. We had a very warm welcome from Carlos who knows how to make it available at any time. Every day starts with a delicious breakfast carefully prepared by Carlos (big highlight in my opinion). Great stay, I would recommend.

If you were looking for a place in Portugal to stay look no further. Carlos and his wife were the best host that I have ever experienced. I have traveled the world both with my job and for vacation and this place is amazing. The morning bread with pastries, freshly squeezed, orange juice, milk!! They went above and beyond and made us homemade soup. They also informed us of events nearby that you could not find online (a bull fight, festival) Carlos was so great and helped us package souvenirs to send home! The castles and churches in this area must be seen. The house is so clean and has every amenity you need away from home. I even came back one day and my laundry was folded that I had hung out to dry. We loved Portugal and this Airbnb so much we have already scheduled our next trip back. It is rare that you find a property and people like this anymore. We made amazing memories.

Very spacious house in great surroundings! We were there as a couple, but I think the place suits families very well. The people were friendly and responsive.

A traditional Portuguese house fully updated inside, very comfortable and well equipped. São Bartolomeu is small village but about only a half hour drive to Évora. Beautiful countryside, friendly people, a cafe, pub, and grocery store all a short walk from Rita’s place. It was a treat to spend a few days in São Bartolomeu Do Outeiro in a clean, cozy, and comfortable home. Highly recommend Rita’s place.

Mr. Hugo and Ms. Susana set out to offer the experience of a 5-star hotel⭐️ in a house, and I can say that they managed to provide all the comfort and amenities that a hotel can offer, with the benefit of a totally private location. I went on a very special date and I can say that I couldn't have chosen a better accommodation for this celebration. Impeccable place, incredible decor, and everything you need for a comfortable and wonderful stay. I loved and hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Muidini's place - she was very responsive and helpful from the moment we booked, answering all all of our questions promptly and proactively providing recommendations. The apartment was beautifully furnished and spotless! We had a truly memorable and enjoyable experience!

Grace was responsive and able to meet me when I could arrive at late notice. Any issues were dealt with extremely quick. Location is beautiful, close to Oeiras Parque and Poetas park. The beach is also super close and it was easy to travel to Cascais and Belém too. The apartment is everything that you need to have a comfortable stay, squeaky clean bathroom and kitchen, comfortable bed and sofas. It’s on the ground floor so nice and cool but also very secure, the windows let in a lot of light but also some nice views of the flowers. The shutters made the nights but especially the mornings comfortable and easy to sleep in. There is a small supermarket less than 1 minute walk away to stock up in the kitchen where you can cook but also there are larger supermarkets close by to drive to if you need to. I had a car and I felt like it made the most of the surrounding towns as they are all so beautiful, but you need to be a bit patient with parking there. I loved my stay and will be back soon.

We had a little difficulty finding the apartment, but probably due to the Google maps changing directions mid way. A wonderful place that was super quiet. The breakfast was outstanding and the Lady that delivered it was very special. She also helped us get to our car, again Google was pointing us in the wrong direction. A great place to stay in an unbelievable historic city.

We just loved staying in Helenas flat. It’s situated in a quiet street in a peaceful but interesting area, far from the tourist crowds but with only a 25 minute walk to them. Great communications with buses and trams round the corner and trains to Cascais 15 minutes away. The flat is small but perfect for two people. The kitchen is fully equipped and Helena is kind enough to provide the basics for breakfast. I would certainly choose to stay here again. Thank you Helena!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is really nice and chic and has everything you need. The mattress is especially comfortable. The host is very helpful and kind, always responding so quickly. We would definitely stay again and also recommend to friends.

It was my first time visiting Portugal, and this place was the best place to stay in. I visited my friends, and I can’t even compare their places to mine. It was very nice and clean, very helpful and respectful, responsible and proactive. Beautiful place with nice views and pool, also food was good, and I felt like home. Thanks a lot everyone, especially Armie, who was taking care about all needs.

The airbnb seems to be in a family complex in a small town outside of Tomar. It is very peaceful, we would stay here again. Sofia was very helpful with check in, helping us light a fire and get a dinner reservation in town.

The most spectacular stay I’ve had on Air B&B. Comporta is gorgeous and the location couldn’t be more perfect. You are walking distance to the main downtown area. The hosts go above and beyond every step of the way. From a beautiful breakfast spread, happy hour drinks, and even getting us reservations… this place is so special. Thank you again! Highly recommend and would love to come back.

We had a great time in Lurdes's b&b, which is in a great location for visiting the surrounding area but also Tomar and Nazare. The room is comfortable and spacious with a very large private bathroom and more than comfortable shower Everything was very clean. The stay was very pleasant. Lurdes is a very nice and pleasant person. It was a pleasure to meet her and also enjoy the good breakfast she personally prepares. From sweet to savory, there's nothing missing. Absolutely recommended.

It was beautiful and we felt incredibly comfortable with the two. A very warm and courteous couple who do everything to make sure you are well on site. The accommodation was a small, sweet paradise. A beautiful location and simply fantastic for relaxing. The breakfast was made with love and it had everything you could wish for. We were very satisfied and definitely want to come back! Great atmosphere, great ambience, great hosts, just beautiful!

If I could give this place over five stars I would!! Justus and Allison were such welcoming hosts that I felt comfortable and at home right on day one!! Justus gave so many great advice and instructions on how to get places, and interesting things to see which I hadn’t thought of :) Not to mention all the delicious breakfast for two weeks, I felt spoiled everyday. He helped me get my uber for my way to the airport, which I’m very grateful for. They really went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and I felt that way. I’d go back again just because they were so fun to talk to and such lovely people! I had no worries as a female solo traveler, even the area felt comfortable to walk around at late hours. Just be prepared for a few stairs every night, but they weren’t that difficult. I’d recommend this place to everyone, being right by the metro you can explore all of Lisbon easily :)

We stayed just one night, but it left a mark on our hearts. Michel kindly let us check in early without hesitation, and that kindness carried through our stay. We arrived in the afternoon and got back late after dinner, struggling with the gate. Michel, knowing we weren’t in yet, was awake and came out to help us without a hint of frustration. I had mentioned it was my birthday, and the next morning, his sweet wife surprised me with a homemade cake. They served a fresh vegetarian breakfast with organic jams, crisp croissants, and the best orange juice I’ve ever had. Their home is peaceful, with a serene garden, stylish boho room, pool, and secure parking. Before we left late that morning, I invited them to join us while I cut the cake, they sang in Portuguese, and I felt so loved. They host not for money, but for joy. We left feeling so full and already plan to return, next time, we want to take Mr. & Mrs. Michel with us for a one-day outing. 100/10.

I’m not sure you’ll find a more interesting and special place to stay. With all of his history and amazing views, there’s nothing like it . Joaquin was extremely welcoming and helpful. Suggesting restaurants as well as different sites to see. We could’ve stayed much longer. Hope to be back someday .

This is a 4 stars hotel experience for the price of a 2.5 stars hotel stay. The room is very spacious and the floor is cut in an way that has all the bathrooms, kitchen, balconies etc feel like they're yours. The kitchen and dining area is much larger than what I expected and there's a balcony everywhere you turn lastly Hannah who works here is an amazing person as well as Manuel with whom both I had lovely conversations. Just great experience and I'll be definitely coming back if I'm in Lisbon next time.

Great little oasis in Nazare. Close enough to the action but tucked away on a quiet street. Would stay here again for sure.
