Our place is close to beautiful meadows and hills, ideal for relaxing, hiking, going offline.... You'll love our Lydi-Hütt' because of the location, because of the little something extra, and the surroundings of our beautiful Vogelsberg. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids), and dogs. The renovated half-timbered house is located in the hamlet of Schmitten. A hamlet is a very small residential development with approx. 10 houses. Pure idyll.

It's probably the weirdest way to stay overnight! Our historic house is now 337 years old and more leaning than the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but it's still a great place to sleep. Located in the historic old town of Dreieichenhain and yet a very quiet location. Optimal connection to Frankfurt, Offenbach, Darmstadt etc.: Bus and train can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. Dreieich-Dreieichenhain is very well connected to federal roads and motorways.

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals. In our Klosterblick apartment, you not only have a unique view of the former Benedictine abbey, the monastery garden and our beautiful Einhardbasilika, you are also only a three-minute walk from our market square and Freihofplatz. There you will find bakers, butchers, boutiques and the most beautiful and romantic restaurants in the city. Here you can admire our beautiful old town with its traditional half-timbered houses.

You will occupy part of the house and use it for yourself alone. Living-dining area and kitchen are located on the first floor. As well as the bathroom with toilet and shower. On the 2nd floor you can use 2 cozy bedrooms. (Bed each 160 x 200 cm) On the 2nd floor is another bed (180 x 200 cm) The bus stop is just a 1-minute walk away and Frankfurt is about 30-40 minutes away. Parking is available at the house.

In 2018, we lovingly renovated and modernized the guest house, an old half-timbered house on our farm. In the countryside and only 30 km from Frankfurt, this is the perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy nature. The detached single-family home was originally built in 1962 as a weekend house for a Frankfurt family and has been completely renovated and converted in the last three years. It has become modern, practical, efficient but also very cozy and offers an oasis of well-being of about 150 m² on 2 floors.
