We will be easily contactable by phone, text, email and via the Airbnb App and will meet and greet each guest to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. For those who need it, we will provide information about the local area prior to your arrival so you can make the most of your stay and enjoy every minute. We will be happy to assist you with the purchase of a myki card/cards for your public transport. We have provided you with a detailed information folder and every instruction manual for all appliances and locks in the apartment. We live 15 to 20 minutes drive away from the apartment. It is therefore important that guests message us or telephone us prior to check-in date to give us details of anticipated time of arrival. If you are arriving from overseas and do not have access to local calls on arrival, it is important that you send us your flight details and arrival time at least 24 hours before check-in date so that we can track your flight (in case it is delayed or early) and be at the apartment to meet you and hand over keys and show you around the apartment and complex. Thereafter, you will be left in peace and quiet to enjoy your stay in "your home away from home". Hawthorn is a beautiful, green upmarket suburb just minutes from the city with picnic spots, parks, biking, and hiking trails. The shopping precincts of Richmond, Malvern, Prahran, and South Yarra are only short tram stops away. The tram stop is outside the main front door for Tram Routes 16 & 74 or 5 minutes walk to Riversdale Road or Burwood Road tramlines. Barkers Road will take you to Richmond and Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre or take a leisurely walk along Burwood Road and the Yarra River. Catch Route 75 trams along Riversdale Road to Etihad Stadium, Cooks' Cottage, Melbourne Aquarium, Federation Square and Bridge Road shopping or in the other direction to Vermont South. Catch Route 70 trams to Swan Street Shopping Centre, Melbourne Star Observation Wheel, Harbour Town Shopping Centre, Docklands, Melbourne Aquarium, MCG, Rod Laver Arena, Hisense Arena and AAMI Park. Glenferrie Train Station is your nearest station. It is just a 6 minute walk from the apartment and nearly all express trains stop at Glenferrie Station. The train will take you to Melbourne Central in under 10 minutes. Glenferrie Station is on the Lilydale, Belgrave and Alamein lines. Even crossing the road is not difficult as you have crossing lights on either side of your location. Feel safe with security cameras in the common areas of the building. The building and apartment are wheelchair accessible. The apartment is so quiet and surrounded by greenery, birds and butterflies- you wouldn't believe you are in an apartment with every convenience at your doorstep.

This apartment is set on the border of Fitzroy and Collingwood - meters away from the vibrant Smith St and Brunswick St. This neighbourhood is filled with hidden cafes, restaurants, bars and quirky shops. The CBD is a short tram or bus ride away. In the heart of vibrant Fitzroy and Collingwood, everything is within walking distance. The apartment is on the top floor (5th) of a new and award winning building and every detail has been considered for a complete stay. Overlooking all the little cottages, homes and former factories with views all the way to the mountains. The pictures I've posted here really speak for themselves - you'll feel spoilt in this warm, comfortable home. Ask the host, a hospitality professional, for recommendations of must-go, must-see, and must-eat-at places in this lively neighbourhood. Set on the border of Fitzroy and Collingwood, vibrant Smith Street and Brunswick Street are only metres away. I will check you in personally - 24/7 late in to the night/after midnight - AT NO EXTRA COST. You will just have to inform me and I will be there to check you in. Bedroom contains a queen bed with a new high quality mattress and bedding. Entire apartment is open to guests, owner will not be present during their stay. The apartment building also includes a communal rooftop BBQ and lounge area. I will be available in person for key pick/up and to answer any queries/show the apartment. Available via phone if there are any issues. The apartment is right on High St Northcote, known for its live music venues, bars, and restaurants. Take a short walk to Welcome to Thornbury, a popular food truck park, or listen to new bands at Northcote Social Club. The apartment is on High st, along the 86 tram line from Bundoora into the CBD. Croxton Station is also a short walk away, with a 20 min train ride into the city. This apartment is in a block with owner occupiers and tenants, so please be mindful of noise in the early morning/late at night so as not to disturb neighbours. No parties or large gatherings.
