This place would be great for a large family or group to get away from the noise of the city. or a group working in the area. Located on 20 acres with a pond, plenty of wild life to see, Located just a few short miles from Lake Huron, Hubbard Lake, and only 15 Minutes from Alpena. A large trail system nearby, for snowmobiles, quads and other off road vehicles. Great place to just sit back and relax. Very Private, nearest neighbor is me, 20 acres away. No hunting or shooting allowed.

Two Trees is a light-filled home on Lake Huron that is a perfect spot for couples, small families, and solo travelers. Situated on a wooded lot, Two Trees sleeps four, and has a freshly updated kitchen and bathroom. The path to our private, sandy beach winds through the woods and down 38 stone steps - which are challenging for some. The house is a short drive to Lumberman's Memorial, Sturgeon Point Lighthouse, and Dinosaur Gardens. It is near US 23; there will be road noise.

A fixer-upper. The house is ready now with some ongoing projects. The house is one bedroom on top of a two-car garage so being able to climb steps is a must to enter the living space. The house is located in town. Less than a 5-minute stroll to the lake passing a coffee and ice cream shop, a consignment shop, an art gallery, etc. This is a great place to stay for the Harbor Town Weekend in September. If your looking for a private oasis this is your place! We are on a private road, few neighbors, full time residents. We hope you appreciate the aesthetics and solitude. My place is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Alpena. There are a variety of restaurants and bars all within 1/4 mile. Lake Huron is my front yard, with tennis and basketball courts available for public use. The Alpena bandshell is a hop and skip from my house; every Saturday there’s a concert in the summer. There are two public beaches within a mile. And you can see masts from sailboats out my front window as the boat harbor is my neighbor.

2nd Retreat

This bright and quaint historical little house is one block from the downtown district. This 2nd retreat has a charming enclosed front porch for sitting, a quiet serene space to enjoy your morning coffee or glass of wine, to read a book or just to sit and relax. We are in walking distance to a great Ice cream shop , the local winery, a quaint coffee shop, Mango's for margarita's and end the evening with the local movie theater. Enjoy the small town dynamic.
