Malhar's place is a little gem tucked away in the forest in a way that makes you feel the forest is your own and the surrounding birdsong is for you alone! The room is simple and clean, the balcony area relaxing, the hamlet nearby, peaceful. There is only a short stretch of bumpy road if you drive in from the state highway (highly recommended) and a short jungle pathway walk from the parking area to the house. The best part of this stay is the host who is very responsive, helpful and a great cook as well! Malhar is very knowledgeable about the forest and your stay will be worth it if you can use your time here to learn about and appreciate more deeply the Konkan eco system while you stay at Malhar's place!

beautiful place, you will have to take a ferry which is like 500 rupees for a car one way. cottages are clean, food is home grown and the cooks are too good. clean kitchen, the whole family works together and I loved the whole atmosphere. there is one uncle who takes care of the place, he is too sweet and helpful. I felt like meeting my Nana ji. location is bang on, it's a river bank and this river is only within maharashtra.

It was a truly satisfying and memorable stay!❤️ Such an amazing and peaceful place perfectly clean and beautifully maintained. The villa was spotless, and the lush greenery along with the stunning valley view was beyond our expectations. A special mention to Rajesh, the caretaker, who was incredibly helpful and kind. The jacuzzi with the valley view was definitely the highlight of our trip. A heartfelt thank you to Sonal as well, such a soft-spoken, kind, and genuinely caring person. She was always there whenever we needed anything, just a call away. Her warm and loving nature truly made us feel at home.❤️

The Conservancy Bungalow - Koyananagar by StayVista A charming heritage bungalow that beautifully blends colonial architecture with modern comforts. The peaceful setting amidst nature made our stay incredibly relaxing. The caretaker was polite and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend it for a serene weekend escape.
