A charming 19th century house with a good atmosphere. The property is beautifully situated by the sea overlooking Ålesund and the Sunnmøre Alps. Only 15 mins with a car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there are cultivated fields with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a medieval marble church, beaches, untouched nature and birdlife. The island once housed Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

High standard cabin on the fishing village of Alnes

Rorbua is located right down by the seafront in the harbour of Alnes with panoramic views of both the spring and the big sea. It's fascinating to follow the birdlife and boat traffic. The light changes throughout the day, you can see both sunrise and sunset from the living room window. This is a place where you can find peace. Right next to the main door there is good mark, varied hiking trails. You can also travel on day trips to Ålesund, Geiranger and Runde. On the neighboring island there is a water sports center with equipment rental.

The caravan is idyllically located with a good view. 10 minutes by car from Ålesund city center, 13-16 minutes by bus. Free parking. 1/2 minute walk to the fjord where sea-lovers can rent a rowboat by appointment. Within walking distance you have Atlanterhavsparken, Tueneset with beach, trails, gaps and fire pit as well as bunkers from World War II. You can walk up to Sugarloaf from here. Just metres from the town centre, but very quiet at the end of a narrow road, with amazing fjord and mountain views! Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Welcome!

Relaxing place on Godøya

Welcome to our house on Gudøya Island. You will have the ground floor with two bedrooms, a large bathroom and a beautiful terrace with view to the sea and mountains. The living room has a kitchenette for cooking. Unfortunately, there is no sink there, but the sink and a dishwasher are in the laundry room. You can also use bicycles. Please note that the entrance is shared. For all details, please look carefully at the photos and plan. We really hope you will enjoy your stay at our place.

Newer single-family home located in a quiet and rural area. Here you have a short way to the sea with good swimming opportunities, and the area offers beautiful nature with both mountains and nice hiking trails. The house is centrally located, with only 15 minutes to Vigra airport and 20 minutes to the center of Ålesund.
