The stay at Casa dos Figos matched and exceeded the expectations we had when we saw the photos and read the comments. We stayed 3 nights and it was like a retreat from stress, traffic, noise and trouble. We were toasted with a wonderful sun that allowed us to enjoy the pool space and train on the deck, the rain also appeared in force and with it allowed to light the fire and marvel at the mountain range, we went hiking to the sites of the river, I advise suitable footwear to walk on stone for some time, we were unable to go to the river for lack of access perhaps because it was April but we liked the experience very much. The kitchen is very well-equipped, we made since soup, cake and several cooked dishes without ever missing anything. The exterior is super calm and quiet, the only nocturnal sounds are the birds and bees that accompanied us throughout the stay, so calm that for those of the city it can even surprise so much silence and peace ahah. The view is unforgettable. :)

We were very well, Danielle was very kind, she was attentive to us at all times resolving our doubts, the house loved everyone, it is very close to Salamanca and the village has a bus that takes you downtown. We were also able to leave the cars in the yard, the truth is that everything was very good.

This is a very special find on Air BnB. In a private location, very well equipped, extremely clean, modern, comfortable and pet friendly. Tiago and his family went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I was there during the electricity blackout of Spain and Portugal and they even though to bring me a torch! I highly recommend this property, I’ll be back!!

My father and his partner stayed and they have finished their stay delighted. The house was exactly as shown in the photos, very large and in a very quiet village with beautiful areas around. They have stayed with their dog and at no time did they get stuck on it. The host was attentive at all times to make the stay pleasant for them and provided the necessary for it. It's definitely a place they'll go back to as soon as they get the chance.

M.Paz was very kind and helpful from the first moment. She made it easier for me to book and the information I asked for. The house was great, we took great advantage of the garden and porch, and the house is very cozy. The departure was also flexible, we did with it no problem.

Quite a hike up the hill if you don’t have a car, just bear that in mind. Also if you’re going into town to eat, the same applies. However the upside of course is that the views are outstanding. Quiet and tranquil, we were extremely happy with our stay. Great hiking on the doorstep, lots of wine tasting if that’s your thing. One very nice touch was the traditional custard tarts and lovely bread/rolls left outside our door each morning by our host. Very nice touch indeed

Ana's apartment is very spacious, three double beds, two bathrooms. crockery and full saucepans to do what you like to eat.

All great, like last year! The treatment is great and the perfect location to carry out the activities around the sierra. We'll be back next year!

What about our visit to Nagoselo do Douro! The space was perfect. This small village and the people who live there are even warmer. Katia was always available for us. We had a puncture and she helped us communicate with the rental company. The people in the village helped us too, in the rain! What about Mrs. Isabel, the lady of the small local market. Smiling, thoughtful, and generous. Unable to leave the village without kissing it before leaving. We enjoyed our stay very much. The Douro region is magical, even in early March!

The house was even more beautiful than expected and cleaned to a wonderful standard. The place felt homely and spacious with enough amenities provided ie towels, kitchen utensils, food items etc. Pool and grounds were well kept by Fernando who helped us out with some queries during the week. The ruins on the property have the place an authentic and rustic feel. This is the perfect spot to get away from it all for some peace and quiet in the beautiful countryside.

This property is simply WONDERFUL. It's perfect for disconnecting and relaxing, in a beautiful setting. The house has everything you might need, and the outside is unbeatable. I don't think you could ever tire of the views from Quinta do Fraguil. They're breathtaking - we kept taking just one more photo! It's so special to be able to see so far into the distance and right down to the bottom of the valley. Even the local viewing point didn't match it! From start to finish, Rui was a friendly and really responsive host. He made us feel confident as soon as we had booked that we were going to be staying somewhere special. He turned up to meet us when we arrived and was in really good contact any time we needed to ask him anything before or during our stay. The pool is a total highlight - a good size and really clean. The house itself was also really clean and tastefully furnished. The outside eating area was perfect and made you feel happy to stay 'at home' and cook! We had sunshine every day and warm evenings sitting outside. This is the sort of place that you feel really sad to leave at the end of your holiday and one that you're very likely to visit again.

The house, carefully equipped as a family home, exceeded expectations: impeccable cleaning, efficient heating in winter and a traditional, simple and tasteful decor. It offers the essentials with excellence, including in the package, typical village security and an authentic charm, away from the standard of mass tourism. Parking is on the street but it is easy and certain, as is the confidence of the host by providing utensils and towels at will — a gesture that deserves reciprocal respect. However, I had an initial difficulty: the address was not located by Google Maps/Waze, as it is in a rural village. I contacted the host who was promptly solicitous and everything resolved. Despite this small logistical challenge, the experience was perfect. For those seeking a cost-effective connection of simplicity, values respect for space and details, as well as seeking an authentic and welcoming experience, I recommend without hesitation! Tip: combine details of the advance route

A warm welcome, Dario not being present, he passed the relay to 2 people including the housekeeper to our surprise by the way, she brought us a magnificent homemade bread and jam for our arrival. The house is very clean and pleasant fresh for perfect summer! Provsende is a small, typical and pleasant village. We are always afraid of people's eyes towards our dogs and everything went very well, you just have to get organized with Fernanda the maid so that she can do her work every 3.4 days, the beds and bath towels are changing. We were pampered like a hotel! Parking is relatively easy, just do it at the bell tower on Sundays mornings at Mass😉. Thanks for everything!

Emidio has a beautiful house in the middle of the Douro area. The place is secluded and quiet but if you are willing to drive through the beautiful scenery you can see many beautiful things. The house is full of comforts and a great place to relax. Extremely friendly host!
