Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Castile and León

Sajazarra is a fabulous location to access cycling routes, both road and gravel. We had a fabulous 2 weeks exploring the area. The private patio at the accommodation was excellent & very comfortable with tables, chairs, loungers, cushions etc. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed including a washing machine. The living room was very cozy & comfortable and the upstairs bedroom and bathroom was manageable & as pictured. Nadine is a lovely host & she made sure we had everything we needed.

I think it was one of the best experiences I have had these last few years, we needed to disconnect and we got it, we left very sad of this very spectacular house, super cozy, the hammock furniture is the best and I slept like a queen in the beds so comfortable, I did not want the hours to pass. Gustavo and his mother, the owners, were so kind and friendly that we already have them in our hearts forever. We love you, family. Graciela and Justin.

The house was great, very clean and comfortable and decorated and furnished with many personal and attractive touches. Being on the edge of the village, with wonderful views, it felt very private, especially as we used the covered outside seating area for meals. Highly recommended.

An unbeatable experience! Ainhoa's house exceeded our expectations. The views are spectacular, especially at sunset, when we were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets through the huge windows of the living room. The environment is very quiet and the location is perfect for disconnecting and relaxing, but at the same time it is close to everything you need. The heating worked wonderfully, which made our stay very comfortable even in the first days, which were cooler. But, without a doubt, the best thing was the communication with Ainhoa. From the first moment, she was very kind, attentive and always willing to help us with any questions or recommendations. We'll be back for sure!

The 1 week in Viguera was wonderful. We travelled with a baby and enjoyed the quiet and breathtaking area. The house offers plenty of space and a great view of the mountains. Viguera is an insider tip and not touristy. You can experience many activities in nature. It is perfect for hiking and cycling. There is also a swimming pool in the village with a great view of the mountains. The host Raquel is totally nice and has always been easy to reach. A defective sunshade was replaced with a new one. Unfortunately, the house number 23 was not as indicated on Airbnb. We would gladly come back!

The house is beautiful, the pool is great and Frank is very kind. Celebrating my birthday with my whole family was great. We had a wonderful weekend.

The contact with Mario was very easy and direct. He gave all kinds of tips in advance and a good description of how to get in. If you are looking for a busy environment with a lot of entertainment, you are clearly not looking for such a place. However, if you are looking for a nice place to relax and want to explore the Spanish hinterland, it is ideal. Everything is as mentioned, it is sparkling clean and even some extras are offered. I was only here for one night, because I was in transit, but it is ideal to unwind. I would highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience, we had a very pleasant weekend at the Casa del Pastor. The photos do not do justice to how beautiful the house is, everything is very clean and tidy and you have everything you need for your stay. We felt at home. I have to say that the people of the village are really very nice. Upon arrival, Inma attended to us in the best way that you can be received, and I thank her. Thank you Inma. Just to say that I would do it again.

We absolutely fell in love with Salamanca and we were also delighted to be based in Miguel’s very stylish and comfortable apartment. It’s in a great location - steps from the beautiful Roman Bridge and a short walk into the Old Town with lots of bars, restaurants and wonderful sights. Salamanca is so walkable and after a day on our feet it was great to get back to Miguel’s for a rest on the sofa. Bed was comfortable, shower excellent, apartment spacious. We had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful home! One of the coolest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom situation is interesting, not very sound proof. However, you get used to it over time.

Gloria’s apartment was great to stay in. It’s a lovely location with lots of great restaurants. Especially good if you like vintage shopping! Would definitely recommend. Also, communication was very quick. Thanks Gloria!

Beautiful apartment right on Plaza Mayor. Well appointed, really interesting antiques and art (and furniture), just a wonderful experience, practically and aesthetically. Really just one of our favorite stays ever. We happened to be staying there during the San Isidro festival, so the square was full of people and workers erecting a giant stage (followed by lots of sound checks). Worth noting that the windows do an amazing job of blocking out the noise from the square. Practicalities: great location (although there's a half block walk from any street), near the sights and the markets and so much of the heart of Madrid. Grocery store less than a block away. Tons of great food nearby. Only downside: the apartment was so beautiful that we explored less than we would have otherwise!

Iganacio and María Jesús were very accommodating. They gave us detailed directions to the village. The house is super cozy, it has everything you need to have a comfortable stay, the wood from the stove is provided by Ignacio, without ever missing it. In the village there are no markets, so bring what you need to eat. 2 km down there is a bar where you can eat. The mountain route does not generate any inconvenience to get to the house. The surroundings of the village are unbeatable, nature to the full! Undoubtedly, the hosts, the house and the village are to recommend to those looking to spend a few days disconnecting.

Amazing location and very nice hosts. Would highly recommend to someone traveling from the US. Many places nearby spoke both English and Spanish. Very convenient and lots to do around the area.

The place was very close to the Atocha train station which was our number one priority since we were doing day trips on some days we were in Madrid. It was a plus that the property had a 3 bedroom perfect for my family of 4; huge living room and kitchen/dining area and lots of restaurants downstairs and nearby. Museums and top Madrid attractions are very much walkable. Just make sure you communicate with them when you are on the way to the property. We had a great stay.

great villa, even better in real life than in the pictures! Private and peaceful stay. Additionally the property is baby proof. Hosts were also very responsive and kind by giving local suggestions.

Our stay was fabulous! The house and property were very comfortable and very clean. The place had everything we needed for 5 adults and 1 infant. The views were spectacular.

A wonderful few days with friends staying at this beautiful villa in Becerril de la Sierra. Very modern, spotless villa with great amenities as described. Accommodating and friendly hosts who have great local recommendations. Would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic stay in the house. Enrique was very kind and attentive at all times. There are areas in the house, such as the bathrooms, that have just been renovated, and it is very nice to be able to enjoy a house as well as these facilities. Enrique was very kind in preparing the pool, and facilitating any request or answering any questions. 100% recommended, thank you very much Enrique!

Very nice and cozy place. Very nice owners and guardians upon arrival and checkout. We were allowed to stay longer after checkout. We brought coffee as a gift. Everything was great

Everything was great! A perfect weekend to unwind with friends!! There is peace everywhere. Luis, although he lives next door... we hardly saw him. Always very attentive to everything. We will definitely repeat.
