Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Algoma District

The bay was one of the few bays that weren't frozen over; while there was still some ice floats, the water was very calm and relaxing and the whole place was very serene. Very few other people were around since it was mid-April and we really enjoyed the quiet of it all. The apple fritters really are delicious, and the other reviews are right to suggest getting all your groceries in Sault Ste. Marie on your way (assuming you're coming from the south). If anyone in your party is tall, be aware the door frames are 6' so anyone taller will have to be careful not to whack their heads. We would love to come back in the summer and use the beach and all the outdoor stuff with the dogs. Can't beat the views from the front windows!

I highly recommend this amazing house right on the banks of Bright Lake. I have zero complaints and we will be returning! Nicole was very accommodating and couldn't ask for a better host. We had a lovely long weekend at Tristan's place. The location is perfect and very convenient to some outstanding restaurants and shops in Richard's Landing. Tristan is very responsive and so friendly. The home was impeccably clean and had everything anyone would need. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. Sunsets were breathtaking! The hot tub and sauna were a plus! We loved it so much we've already booked it for a long weekend again next month. Thank you so much Tristan!

I have stayed at alot of air bnb’s since I travel for work and I can truly say this was one of my favourite places if not my favourite place! The house is beautiful and has everything that you could ever need while staying out of town. They covered and thought of everything. I will be back to the area and this will be my first choice if available.

Gil & Sil - A very responsive host. They made us feel like own home and they were like our friends. Sil suggested lots of places for my kid. Me, my wife and kid absolutely loved the stay. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Krista's place. She provided us with recommendations via messages for great places to ski, and the apartment had a comprehensive list of suggestions as well. My wife and I cooked one or two meals every day, and the kitchen was fantastic to work in. The bed was comfortable, and the living room was spacious, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We loved walking around downtown Sault Ste. Marie, especially Queen St., where we found many after-Christmas bargains at various shops. We also dined at several restaurants within walking distance, which was very convenient. Overall, Krista’s place made our trip memorable, and we would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful stay for anyone seeking tranquility with easy access to natural beauty and small-town charm.

We had the pleasure of staying with Tina last summer, and we were more than happy to come here again! It is a lovely little apartment, very clean, and close to everything you may need. Would happily stay here again!

Rene and Sandra were great hosts. They accommodated us very well with lots of parking for our trucks and trailers and access to the lake for fishing. They went above and beyond on our check out date which helped us out greatly. They always responded very quickly and check in was a breeze. Beautiful views as well. Would recommend to anybody.

I visit the Sault several times a year and rent AirBnB's. Alex's was by far the best one I've stayed in. What I liked: Main level accommodation, off-street parking, short drive to where I needed to go, quiet, clean, washer/dryer a big plus, responsive host, very reasonable price, large kitchen with all the necessities. I will definitely book again.

Few hiccups with the remote entry but Ian was responsive to text and got it sorted even at 10 pm. Made sure we had everything we needed. Overall a good host.

Our stay was comfortable. During the night, there was an unexpected accident—my child had a nosebleed (a first for us) on the bed. I reached out to Ryan, and he responded with such kindness and understanding. He assured us not to worry and mentioned that he already planned to replace the queen bedding, which we had found to be very clean and new. We really appreciated his thoughtful and supportive response—it made a stressful moment much easier to handle. Thank you, Ryan, for being such a considerate host!
