Very special apartment in an amazing location. Read reviews from previous guests. In order to guarantee your safety in our apartment, we have implemented an internal protocol, following the recommendations of the Health Authorities, which defines the all the hygiene procedures to avoid contagion and ensure a safe stay for all guests. The apartment is a loft located in a fully renovated building maintaining the old charm of wooden structures and high ceilings. Unlike most apartments in Alfama, you only have a small flight of stairs to reach it, while having a fantastic view from both levels. The first floor has a living room divided in two separate areas. One has a comfortable sofa and the other has a comfortable sofa bed with an adjoining bathroom with shower and natural light. The open kitchen is equipped with main appliances, including a washing machine and Nespresso. On the second floor, you´ll find the double bedroom with a comfortable chaise longue to relax and a bathroom with shower. There´s a AC unit in the bedroom or a fan for those that prefer not to use air conditioning. The view from the ceiling window offers the river and Alfama´s rooftops to enjoy. There´s a full length mirror and plenty of hangers. You´ll find a writing desk. Wifi is available through out the apartment. Cable Tv with over 100 channels in the ground floor. A steam roll to press clothes and a hair drier is available. Guest have access to the whole apartment. For a 2 guest stay only the double bed will be prepared. If you are 2 guests and also want to use the sofa bed please mention in advance. An extra cost of 30€ per week or stay, will be applied. Late check-in after 10pm has an additional cost of 20€ paid directly at checkin. I’ll be available shall you need to contact me. Pour some espresso coffee and take in the privileged views over the river and the rooftops of Alfama. This bright, roomy, and renovated apartment also features polished pale wooden floors, some eye-catching artworks, and a light-filled reading room. This apartment is in the heart of Alfama, Lisbon's oldest quarter and most enchanting district. It's ideally located for exploring the narrow crooked streets that make up the delightful maze stretching from St Jorge Castle to the Tagus Estuary. The best way to get to the apartment is by transfer or Uber. A private transfer or shuttle can be arranged. You can also take the metro to Santa Apolónia train station and come by foot or take a taxi from there. Getting around is best done on foot. The 28 tram stops a minute away and is a fun way to have a first taste of Lisbon. If you walk down to the river, the metro and buses are available to reach farther areas of Lisbon. Several can be reached by foot, like Baixa, Chiado and Graça. In Portas do Sol, you can also choose from a selection of electric tuk tuks to drive you around. Uber and Cabify offer a more selective service and can easily pick you up from the doorstep. It's all within reach at this clean-cut apartment featuring vibrant hardwood floors, relaxed furnishings, and pops of color. It's a one-room apartment with one bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. - Room: with a king size bed (160cmx200cm) and a LED TV on the opposite wall, a sofa and a great view of the city castle in the french balcony. - Bathroom - with a big shower (80cmx120cm) and equipped with hair-dryer. - Kitchen - fully equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and tea kettle. - Other amenities - free Wi-Fi and cable TV. The apartment is located in the Alfama district of Lisbon, with traditional eateries, cafes, and craft shops all within walking distance. Theatres, museums, and historic sites are all steps away, including the centuries-old São Jorge Castle. How to get here If you are flying to Lisbon, there are two options: - the taxi. It costs approx. 15 euros and it takes approx. 15 minutes. - the metro. It costs approx. 2 euros per person and it takes approx. 40 minutes to get to your exit station: the 'Martim Moniz' station, which is 250m away from the apartment. If you are coming by train (exiting on 'Oriente' or 'Santa Apolónia' train stations), you can catch the metro and exit at the 'Martim Moniz' station.
