Wallace Lodge was by far the most beautiful and peaceful of our entire trip. The house was the perfect mix of modern amenities with a rustic feel, everything from the private Loch to the sheep in the surrounding fields made our stay even that much better. Wallace was a most helpful and gracious host, from letting us check in s little early, to showing us how to work the appliances. The hot tub overlooking the private Loch was the icing on the cake for this amazing place. would definitely come back here for a vacation.

The promise of the view was fabulous and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded place, this is the place. It is not perfectly placed if you are looking for tourist places to visit but the place is enough for itself for a few nights and it is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the calm. The bedrooms and living rooms are very beautiful and well decorated. Thank you for providing a beautiful home like this.

Just home from a lovely family holiday. The place was great to fit us all in with plenty of space and lots to do in walking distance of the house, couldn’t be in a better locations. Made some lovely family memories to celebrate my parent 40th wedding anniversary. Colin and heather had the place decorated amazing before we got there - such a lovely touch! Thanks again! Lovely (mostly) clean, modern house. Downstairs shower isn’t fully enclosed and with an overhead shower meant water going everywhere, especially when washing your hair. No toiletries provided, apart from hand wash (we have stayed at numerous properties over the last 6 weeks and the majority have dispensers on the shower walls with body wash, shampoo & conditioner) and no shelf in shower to put your own toiletries on either which is annoying to have to keep bending down to pick them up. The kitchen was well equipped, although some cooking pans weren’t overly clean. The dryer’s filter hadn’t been cleaned either. The lounge area was nice with comfy furniture, but the dining chairs we found a little uncomfortable as they sank when you sat on them. But apart from that we had a lovely stay.

Lovely home, we had everything we needed, so cosy too. Everyone was very happy. Even better than in the pictures! Very peaceful surroundings on Loch Fyne, couldn’t ask for a better view- really wonderful. Ann is a kind, responsive and thoughtful host.

The accommodation has everything you need and a lot more besides. It’s incredibly comfortable in every aspect. Views from the decking of the loch are stunning. We had a most enjoyable stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting a luxury accommodation in a beautiful and tranquil location.

This place will forever be dear to my heart! We booked Kintail Cottage as a place to get ready before we got married Lochside at Loch Lubnaig and it was perfect. What a beautiful place, gorgeous location, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. Thank you so much Jeff - we will absolutely be back time and time again!

The apartment was exactly as described and in the pictures - fantastic value and very smart in comparison to other accommodation in the area. Gordon is incredibly professional and we’re really glad we chose to stay here. Some amazing hiking around the Loch too.

Instructions were clear and we had no trouble finding the place. Street parking - we found a few spots within 2- 3 mins distance. The home was kept very clean and aesthetic; we loved the vibe. Kitchen had basic amenities. We also loved the fact that footwears were provided for indoor use ❤️. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quite place. 🤍💫 Note - the flat is on the second floor. Heads up if you are carrying heavy luggage up the stairs.

I rented the apartment when hosting my relative from Canada, they loved the location,enjoyed walks in the stunning park close by aswell as the coffee shops and local cafe. The apartment was well equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean.

The flat is beautiful and spotless. plenty of atractions in a close proximity, lovely view from the bedroom window. Suz is a great host, very proactive, everything went really smoothly.

We had a fantastic stay at Emma and Steven's apartment. It was spotless, cosy and fully equipped for a relaxing break. We really liked the location, with great walks nearby and Oban just a short drive away. Be sure to visit the newly reopened Taynuilt Inn at the end of the road - a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

Brilliant stay in a fabulous location, Having stayed in the area for over 10 years on fishing trips this is the best, absolutely spotless lovely and cosy with views to die for, be it wildlife or weather watching (seen otters on the last day) it’s hard to move from the sofa or even put the tv on looking out the big picture window also it has the comfiest bed ever. The location is also excellent being close to Oban for restaurants, shopping etc but also for a lovely drives north to Glencoe etc also 2 mins away from the fabulous beach at Ledaig with its amazing views. Lovely little touches too, flowers and welcome pack with shortbread, tea, coffee milk and sugar to get you started. Will definitely be returning If I can loved it x.

Location wise this place is incredible, the cottage was well equipment, although it has heating (which I believe is based on additional costs) and a fire the cottage had hard wooden floors throughout, It did get cold very quickly. Also the extra cost at £150 for the week for our dog feels excessive. With the above said it was an amazing stay. Thanks again

This was a lovely peaceful cottage beautifully equipped with everything you need. Welcoming hosts clean and tidy in a lovely location with a view to die for. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and wish we could have stayed longer

Words cannot express the wonderful week we have had on Loch Katrine. Old Smiddy is ideally located for hiking the mountains, lochs and woodland and Carole has thought of all you need to make it feel like a home from home. Having our morning tea watching the Barn Swallows and House Martins catching their breakfast on the lake in the sunshine was very special. Aberfoyle has all you need for food and cute shops and fantastic Doone Hill walk from the town - Free Parking!!! A ferry trip on the Sir Walter Scott from the pier over to Trossachs Pier is a MUST and the Primrose Hill hike was stunning. The Pier Cafe is outstanding, definitely worth a treat and just a short walk away. Thank you Carole for sharing your amazing house, we will be back to enjoy the hot tub and sauna 🤞

We absolutely loved our stay — it was everything we hoped for and more. The views were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect escape. Our dog, Clover, had the best time too and made a new best friend in Bertie (Ronnie and Laura’s lovely golden retriever). It felt like home and we were genuinely sad to leave. Can’t recommend it enough — thank you so much for such a special experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First of all can I just say what a beautiful cottage this is, you certainly will not be disappointed. We had a fantastic week here beginning with the lovely welcome gifts left by Kate. We made full use of the opportunity to walk our dog across the farm and the surrounding area, he loved it. Far enough away for a complete relaxing get away, but close enough to all the attractions of central Scotland to fill your days. We fully intend to return next year. Thank you
