Quiet, serene, and very private. Sitting on the “beach” at night with a fire in the pit, listening to the songs of the frogs was our favorite part. If you go, make sure to stop at Smokehouse BBQ about 5 minutes away - amazing smoked ‘Q.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeslide Retreat! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed with all that was included in the amenities. We enjoyed the pool, and it was perfect for all ages. We rented a pontoon boat and had a great going around Lake Martin. It was so convenient to have the dock for our boat since we rented it for two days. Mary was a great, helpful host and always punctual in her replies. We absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

This is the cutest, cleanest place. I feel like the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s decorated so nicely. We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was so fun and clean. The back porch is so relaxing and overlooks the woods making it the perfect spot to sit and drink coffee. There’s a house to the right but not to the left, so it felt very private. We went to dinner at Springhouse and highly recommend!! We also liked Children’s harbor treasures and thrift and the proceeds go to help sick children. Overall an awesome stay!

We stayed here with close friends for my 40th birthday. It was nothing short of perfection. I’ve been eyeballing it for a few years to host retreats and after seeing in person, I’ll definitely be back. It was beautifully decorated, the lot was amazing, and it was absolutely relaxing. We never even turned on a tv. Our friends all had lovely things to say too. It left quite an impression on us all. Also, the bedding/pillows were very comfortable, and shower toiletries were provided which was a bonus!

The Harris home is VERY comfortable & welcoming. EVERYTHING is in a manual that is provided after booking which makes it easy to know how to operate anything in the home. Beds are comfy & the bathrooms very clean. The backyard area is spacious and has plenty of seating. The pool & hot tub are fabulous and the covered area provids a place to be outside if it rains. The kitchen is well stocked and has plenty of seating. The house is very clean and the neighborhood is very quiet. There is a military base behind the house and we heard Taps played at night which was pretty cool. Behind the back fence is a train track but when asked about it, I was told a train may come by very slowly once or twice during the day. There was never a train so rest assured, the area is very quiet. My only suggestions is to add a little more light in the hall bathroom and a robotic pool cleaner. The pool was clean when we arrived but it did rain so the bottom did a get little dirty. We will stay again!

Great little cottage near Lake Martin.

This was perfect for our family. The hosts were so helpful and the home was clean, adorable, and had a pretty view from the screened in porch. We would definitely recommend.

This one bedroom was very peaceful and nicely set up for a quiet getaway. Mike did a great job of explaining all the details before checking in and out. I will book again if I’m in Montgomery area again. Great Location!

My daughter and I were here for a sorority parents weekend and your place was absolutely perfect. So quiet, plenty of room and you guys are a dream to work with…I would absolutely stay here again!

This is an amazing, comfortable, spotless Airbnb. The host were quick to reply to all messages. Friendly housekeeping, well kept space. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was amazing, the balcony perfect for unwinding! I stayed for 2 months! Highly recommend!

One of the best AirBnB’s I’ve stayed. We stayed for 5 days because my daughter was here for vet camp and we were driving from Ohio. I needed a place that was comfortable, clean, quiet, and offered everything I would need to basically live while I was working remotely. Elizabeth’s place OVER delivered. Not only does she have a local guidebook but she also had everything you would need to cook meals, a coffee bar, all detergents, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, comfortable beds and pillows, lots of blankets and cute balcony I used quite frequently for reading and coffee. The pool was also nice and relaxing. If my daughter decides to go to Auburn we will definitely be coming back. Thank you Elizabeth!

We had the best weekend at Jan’s lake condo. We rented a boat at the marina that’s just a few minutes from the condo. Our teenagers enjoyed the boat for two full days, giving us lots of time together that is rare with busy summer schedules. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking meals, and there are several great restaurants close by. We went to Chucks and The Landing at Harbor Point with a quick boat ride from the condo. Jan has done a great job of updating the condo with top notch appliances and furnishings! The two balconies were nice for watching the boats as well as geese flying in on the water. We had an incredible weekend and will definitely return!

El Cerrito was absolutely perfect for our week at Lake Martin!! We wanted an out of the way, quiet, peaceful, and serene spot and it exceeded our expectations!! Husband appreciated the awesome dock area and it was ideal for fishing off of. The kiddo loved all the games and the perfect swimming area. I thoroughly enjoyed the dock's top deck for relaxing and sunning, the walkout deck with stunning views and ample seating for family meals, and the best stocked kitchen away from home I have ever experienced! Stephanie and Chuck have literally thought of everything! They were super responsive, greeted us the next morning after arrival, came out to say farewell and wish us a safe trip home, and were truly wonderful hosts!! OH, and the real thrill during our stay was two different Bald Eagle fly by's - absolutely incredible!! ❤️

Great place to stay close to down town and the campus. We had to move my son in to summer accommodation and this worked out well as he was staying a block away. Great host and very responsive to all question. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic lake condo at Lake Martin! We were visiting the area for a bass fishing tournament and Bob, the host, was very responsive and helpful! The property was very clean and having access to the boat slip, the pools, and the boat ramp were super convenient!

This is by far the best condo we have booked in the area definitely will return.

My family and I didn’t know what to expect as this was our time in a rental Airbnb. Which exceeded our expectations, we gave our stay 5 stars across the board, the lake view top tier. Thank you for having us.

This is a wonderful condo and I would stay here again. There was a problem with the entry lock and some missed communication between the owners that caused us to have to wait an hour. The owners were very apologetic and once we were in, all went well.

This is a large condo with most amenities within walking distance of downtown. We’d stay here again!
