Waterfront holiday rentals in Alentejo

We loved our stay!! Joao was very attentive & checked on us a couple of times which I appreciated. Very comfortable home in a great location. We took an Uber from the bus station & walked everywhere while we were there. It was only a few days this time but will definitely be back!

Joana’s home is the perfect location to explore Lisbon. It is very close to a lot of shopping and tourist attractions. There are tons of restaurants options available within close proximity. I would love to stay in Joana’s home again when I come back to Lisbon.

Antonio’s place is in a prime location. It is a 6 minute walk to the Baixa Chiado metro station. There are many yummy places to eat within steps of the apartment. The apartment itself had everything we needed. I.e dishes, silverware, washing machine with detergent etc. Antonio is a very attentive host and easy to reach via the Airbnb app. When dish soap was not in the apartment he delivered some to the front door. This was very kind. Thank you Antonio for the amazing stay and making us feel at home.

You can find a calm place over the roofs of Alfama, a great view and a few steps to find anything you need. I missed nothing in the flat and I can highly recommend it. It's woth it to climb all the stairs for real!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The absolutely stunning sea view is breathtaking, and the long sandy beach just across the street made it easy to enjoy the seaside every day. The location is fantastic—full of great restaurants and even places to rent bikes, so you can easily explore the beautiful coastline on two wheels. The apartment itself is clean, fresh, and modern, with all the kitchen appliances you need to cook comfortably. The bed is really comfy, and I loved that there were some books and even table games available for relaxing evenings in. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable seaside getaway!

Antije's small attic is an intimate, quiet place, overlooking the Tagus and the city's rooftops. Located in a very central area, close to 5 minutes by bus, Apolonia station and metro. Antije is a perfect host. Very kind, ready to give advice based on the needs of the guest, advice on what to do in the evening and where to dine, advice on cultural events taking place during the days of stay. One thing that is worth more than all the others, which were also perfect, is the very comfortable bed. It's not easy to find super comfortable beds, but the one at Antije's house is!

Fantastic stay in wonderful, clean modern top floor flat. View is amazing to the city of Faro and Rua Formosa. Large well furnished comfortable balcony with jacuzzi. There is everything you need in the flat: coffee mashing, toaster, kettle, microwave, cooker and oven, large fridge. Very modern bathroom with two types of shower. Water pressure is perfect. There are plenty of towels if you need more. AC in every room. There is iron and ironing board. Also, there is beach towels and parasol. We stayed for 4 days and loved it. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back 😊 Thank you very much Fabio!

Unique, cozy little house with the beach right outside, perfect for a one of a kind vacation. Sagres is the chillest place, surf town with incredible natural beauty and all the essentials. Hosts are lovely. We had a great time.

Bruno and Rita we're wonderful hosts and the Airbnb was charming, spacious, clean, and very close to the beach. It was exactly what we were looking for. And you can see the ocean from multiple rooms which really makes a beach vacation compete.

Ana’s place is charming and comfortable. The view from the back terrace is spectacular. Ana kindly made a dinner reservation for us nearby and supplied us with freshly baked bread for breakfast. She is an excellent host and her place is perfect for relaxing in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We wished we had time to swim at the nearby river pool which looked amazing. Maybe next time! I rented the house for 2 fishing friends. Great location everyone happy . can't recommend highly enough

Everything was great, we had a really nice and peaceful stay. There seems to be a quarry not far and it made some noise but not too much. And in the evening there was an event nearby with loud music that was a bit disturbing. I don’t know if it’s a regular thing.

It was a wonderful place with a magnificent view of the sea. A place that invites you to linger and unwind. The house was in top condition and clean. We felt completely comfortable and José was a great host.

We spent a few days at Alexandra’s place and it was exactly as described if not even more. Extremely well equipped house in a stunning location. We spent days swimming in the ocean, nights admiring the night sky which is stunning in Porto Covo. The house itself is super cool yet very practical. We really loved our stay!

Helia’s place was great! There were so many small thoughtful touches in the apartment that we appreciated. There were beach towels, a beach umbrella, paddle boards, wine and even snacks! The location was only a one minute walk to the beach. It had all the items we needed for a week stay! The only thing I would mention is that it can be difficult to find parking.

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

Extremely nice apartment and well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Location was 5 minute walk to grocery store and 2 bus stations within 1 minute walk. Balcony was wonderful to enjoy morning and evening. If you enjoy walking, closest beach is 10 minutes away. Thank you for sharing your home. Would book again if i make a return trip!

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time. From the apartment, we could visit many beautiful places, and it is still very quiet and private. The village is only 4 minutes away by car and it is also very nice to eat something there and spend time on the beach. The hostess provided us with everything necessary and was not intrusive. We will be happy to come back!

Anabela’s beach apartment is a real gem in a gem of a town. The view from the window of the apartment is gorgeous with waves crashing below. You can sit at the table watching the ocean. The apartment is also very well equipped and comfortable and is spotlessly clean. Anabela is a wonderful host. She is very friendly and accommodating – in short, she is a lovely person. I highly recommend her apartment and will definitely plan to return if we visit Portugal again.

We had a fantastic week at Anita’s apartment in Praia da Rocha. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome – Anita and Antonio had left a generous guest pack including ham, cheese, wine, milk, water, biscuits and crisps, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch after our journey. The apartment itself is bright, spotless, and has spectacular views across the beach – which, pleasantly, wasn’t too busy during our stay. The location is excellent, with a great selection of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Anita and Antonio were outstanding hosts – friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure their guests have everything they need. Their detailed information pack was really helpful, and they were always quick to answer any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment – it’s a perfect base for a relaxing stay in Praia da Rocha. Thank you, Anita and Antonio, for your warm hospitality and kindness!
