Holiday rentals with lake access in Alentejo

Beautiful Airbnb! I’ve recommended to all my family and friends if they come to Portugal. Perfect for a quiet few days to rest and recharge!

We had a fantastic stay at Sofia’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. She took the time to personally meet us, brought us some fresh Pastéis de Belém and wine, which made our experience feel very special. Her instructions and recommendations were incredibly helpful, ensuring we felt comfortable and knew the best places to explore. Whether it was tips on local restaurants or guidance on how to navigate the area, her insights made our trip so much smoother. The space itself was cozy and well-equiped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The appartement is on 3 floors, there is 1 bathroom on 1st floor to be used for bedroom on 3rd floor. The other bathroom is within the masterbed room. We truly appreciate the personal touch and care that Sofia puts into hosting, and we would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a great experience. She also accomodated an earlier check-in as our flights arrived early morning.

We had a really lovely stay! Stunning location right at the beach and next to Bica do Lagoa restaurant! We enjoyed peaceful surroundings and the house had everything that we needed. All utensils for kitchen and super comfy beds. The location is Brilliant for kids as well, this side of lagoon is shallow and perfect for playing. Highly recommended ! Would definitely stay again!

Spacious apartment located in one of the most charming streets of Olhão. Everything this lovely town has to offer is just around the corner. Tom and Pierre responded quickly and helpfully to all my requests. I had a wonderful stay – highly recommended!

Phantastic house with a beautiful huge garden, lake view and direct access to the lake. The house is a traditional stone house but the interior is very tasteful and modern. The house itself is great but the outside is even better. A large garden with different areas and absolutely beautiful trees and plants. You can see and feel that João and his family have put a lot of love into the house and the garden and thought of every detail. Bi Strong recommendation if you want to stay in a lovely house that is spacious but also very private. João is a very attentive host and very friendly. We were greeted with a warm smile, self made Olive oil and freshly picked lemons from the garden. If possible I would rate with more than 5 stars. 🙂🤩

Every corner of Florbela’s property radiates peace, beauty, and care. And Florbela herself? An absolute gem. Since the very single morning freshly bread and local pastries delivered, to all the things she left in the house, we never had to go to any supermarket. And if you need any veggies, there’s a garden where you can go and pick up fresh veggies and herbs. If you are looking to disconnect and create memories for a lifetime, this is your place. Florbela made us feel like family, and her hospitality turned a beautiful stay into an unforgettable experience. We left not just relaxed, but with a new friend. We had such a great stay! Amazing location and so much to do around the town. The apartment was well equipped, nicely decorated and very comfortable. FYI it seemed that you are able to see through the skinny windows next to the front door from the street since the apartment is on the level of the street. We did not seem to have any issues though and it is super easy for guests to be able to access the apartment! I don’t think we really could have asked for a better apartment to stay in Lagos! Host was very helpful and responded quickly to questions and gave so many good recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try!

We had an amazing stay, how lucky we were to have stayed in this accommodation and in this neighborhood. The house is full of charm and very comfortable. We loved the view and the typical neighbourhood. A big thank you to Marie for her hospitality, responsiveness and advice!

We had a great time in Patricia's apartment. It had everything a child needs and more. I have never seen such a well-organized space for children: toys, dishes and even bumpers for the bed. The apartment is very close to the ferry and it is very convenient to get to the center even without a car. Patricia was very nice and responsive. She left a lot of recommendations on where to go, we did not even have to organize anything ourselves 🙂 she also allowed my sister to check in early and even met her in the morning in apartment. Which was very nice of her. And invaluable for a person who spent 8 hours on the road. We recommend this accommodation in Lisbon.

What a wonderful home we stayed in! Carla and Paolo are amazing hosts, very responsive and friendly. The house is beautiful and very well located next to all main attractions, restaurants, shops, promenade and beach. We had one small issue during our last day— we had no hot water but Paolo was proactive as soon as I messaged Carla and stopped by to check the boiler. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Pedro was a great host and was super responsive. The location was absolutely perfect, as it was close to lots of action and also was great to access day travel throughout the Algarve. Thanks Pedro!

I’m very happy with my choice of apartment and my stay 😍 In person, it looks even better and more atmospheric than in the photos. It has a cozy, homey vibe — especially when the sun shines in 😌 The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable: the bed is great, and there’s everything you need for cooking and a pleasant stay overall. The internet worked really well — I was working during my stay and had no issues with the connection. The location is also great — a charming little street with lots of restaurants. Check-in was easy and straightforward. The host was proactive, caring, and friendly. I’m going to miss this place, but I definitely recommend it!

Alexandra’s apartment is absolutely lovely! It is a very traditional apartment, with everything you need, and the space was surprisingly roomy for the city. Our only challenge was that it isn’t close to public transportation. The neighborhood is walkable, with great restaurants and bars, but train and metro stations were a 15-20 min walk. It didn’t sound like much when booking, but it adds up after long days of sightseeing.

Martina and Peter were incredible hosts. We had a relaxing and wonderful stay. We look forward coming back there!

Stunningly beautiful and private oasis! You get all the privacy you want in this gorgeous house with an amazing eco garden. The natural pool is great…no chlorine, no itch. Jan is a super nice and responsive host. We’ be back

This home is a beautiful farm house in the area - you feel right at home when you arrive and it makes you want to move in. The property is so peaceful, calming and great for kids and outdoor meals. The location is wonderful and right in the middle of all of the beaches in the area. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communicative (the best communication I've encountered with an airbnb) - always there to respond to you if you have questions and help with anything that comes up. The house is also incredibly well equipped for multiple guests and a longer stay - the photos don't reveal just how many dishes, pots and pans, and other supplies the home has. As well, the windows have screens which is a HUGE plus that many airbnbs in the area do not have. If you are there in cooler or wetter weather, the house does get a little bit damp if you are sensitive to that but that is pretty common for most places in the area and the hosts have put things in place to help with it.

An authentic and breathtaking landscape of beauty, serenity; a very friendly host, available and discreet; ideal accommodation with a swimming pool in the heart of nature... a peaceful oasis to come and relax in peace. An excellent stay to be repeated!

We had a brilliant time at Canto Do Zêzere - the house is really clean, spacious and comfortable, and the lakeside location is absolutely stunning. Boating on the lake was a highlight! We would definitely come back again.

My family and I had a very nice week in Marta's house and we felt very comfortable there. The large living area is inviting to be together and the piano was well used. Aljezur is a few minutes' drive away, as well as 3 great beaches. We highly recommend the place!

We liked everything about the stay in casa Mimosa. It sure isn’t a place to party, it is a location to enjoy peace and quiet. Casa mimosa house is divided to two halves, but it isn’t a problem at all - there is enough privacy and terraces are located separately. The house is well equipped and clean. Lovely garden that you can explore freely. Sometimes there is a baker who brings fresh bread to the reception area. Prem welcomed us kindly and took us and our luggage to the house, recommended local hiking trails, restaurants etc. It was wonderful to relax in total peacefulness, the sleep quality was epic.

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.
