“We had a wonderful stay in the little house over the bank holiday weekend. The cottage is small but cosy, super comfortable beds & bedding and the breakfast options are a lovely touch; the homemade bread in particular was delicious! Sonia and her husband were extremely accomodating and on hand for any questions. Elsworth is a lovely little village, we had a great roast at The Poacher and a nice walk to the nearby nature reserve, all in all a very relaxing weekend.”

“We had such a wonderful stay at Pear Tree Cottage. It was lovely to be welcomed by Sue and her husband on arrival. As we entered we were greeted by the welcoming smell of freshly baked bread and a large spacious living space which was spotless but homely. It’s a perfect size for a couple and the full sized kitchen allows you to properly prepare a meal. There are some lovely walks and places to visit around the area. The crocodiles in the tropical house at Johnson’s of Oldhurst are definitely a must and The Crown Inn in Broughton is only a stones throw away and definitely worth a visit. The highlight of my visit was sitting outside the cottage in the early evening with a glass of wine watching the barn swallows swooping over our heads. I highly recommend Sue and Pear Tree Cottage and would love to stay again.”

“I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s located in a beautiful quiet village. Great parking right outside on the high street. Great communication from Rebecca. Spotlessly clean, and amazing touches such a breakfast, milk and eggs, and cake! We drove into Cambridge both days, which was about half an hours drive, so not too far! Plenty of dog friendly pubs near by, our dog settled in really well. I would definitely book again! Thank you very much to the host”
