This tiny cabin is surrounded by trees, trees and more trees! Soak in the claw foot tub while gazing out at a redwood forest. The bottom floor of the cabin has a small sleeper sofa, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker (not a full kitchen). The bed is in a loft space on the second floor up a steep ladder and there is efficient heating. The fire pit can be used in low fire season only. *please note we also have a glamping space in near proximity. Dog on property, please be pet friendly.

The cottage is in a lush green dense forest surrounding. Very quiet and peaceful. Inside of the house was clean, very well equipped with kitchen utensils, and had good quality bedding. Pay attention to the instructions sent by the host to find the house as the final dirt road to the house isn’t available on google maps. The house is dog friendly. They even had a dog bowl to use. There’s also a fully fenced backyard to leave your pet off leash. Overall, it’s a beautiful place to stay. 15 minutes away from Mendocino. With proactive and friendly host. Will definitely comeback here.

Nika's place, the Artist Studio was well equipped, clean and warm as outside temps dipped into the lower 30's. Great outside shower accessible from the inside bathroom, so it didn't fell like going outside at all. We had a great time. We were three which worked out well.

The interior of Sarah's house was spacious and nicely decorated with a an artful, relaxed, comfortable decor. The mattresses were some of the most comfortable we each had ever slept on, and the bedding was also quite wonderful. The natural vista from the living room was quite special.

Peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Be sure to plan your meals though. The place is so nice you would like to stay there for a sunset dinner or sunrise breakfast but due to the lack of an oven/ stove or bbq you have to eat out. Or master microwave cooking like we did. Otherwise simply heavenly place to stay.

Bret and Phil were excellent hosts that had thought of everything a guest would need for a great getaway. The beautiful “Treehouse” is modern and charming with every amenity provided, to make it feel like a home away from home. Nestled amongst the Redwoods, the backyard is private and beautiful. The deck has plenty of comfortable chairs and is the perfect spot for wildlife viewing! The kitchen is well appointed and stocked. Fantastic coffee selection and barista style syrup station- What more could one ask for?! But wait, there’s more! We loved the hot tub and fire pit. We did indulge in some late evening s’mores. Close to the shops in Mendo and within a 20 min drive to multiple locations like the Skunk Train, Botanical Garden and Glass Beach. Overall, I’d score them a 10 out of 5!! Can’t wait to return someday.
