Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ala Moana Beach

I had a great stay at this beautiful apartment! The space was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Check-in was super easy with clear instructions provided ahead of time. Charlie was communicative and helpful throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again! Mahalo nui!

We loved this place! It was definitely one of the more reasonable cost rentals in the Lanikai neighborhood but it didn’t disappoint. A few things of note: - the appliances are high end KitchenAide and Bosch. The cooktop is a two burner induction that you can put away when not in use. Toaster oven as well. Compact dishwasher and fridge is a one drawer fridge/ one drawer freezer that fits under counter - ample beach towels. Also beach chairs and umbrellas. - the pool was wonderful - less than 10 min walk to Lanikai Beach - do the pillbox hike up the ridge behind you if you want a good workout! We loved our week here. Always planned to cook out on the Weber grill but didn’t end up doing so. The patio was awesome at the end of each day and for morning coffee. Neighborhood was safe. Met the pest control guy and the pool guy while we were here- both really friendly. Would definitely choose this place again.

We had a great stay in Kailua! The house is very comfortable, and it’s only a couple minutes walk to the Kalamas beach access. When not at the beach (with the chairs, towels, boogie boards, and toys provided) or eating Island Snow, the kids loved playing in the yard and the play room, and watching movies in the living room. We ended up staying mostly in Kailua and Lanikai for beaches, shopping, and restaurants, with one morning at the botanical gardens in Kaneohe and one at Haunama Bay, and an afternoon at Bishop Museum after check-out. We’d love to stay here again, in this well-appointed and clean house with hosts who responded to our questions and provided clear guidance on the check-in and check-out process.

Hilton Village is easy. Has everything you could need or want so you don’t spend time driving all over in Honolulu traffic! We wanted to arrive and park it! This place allowed us to do just that!!

Brooke’s place was perfect for my partner and I plus daughter and niece. We were able to cook in the kitchen with sharp knives other good kitchen amenities but also appreciated that there were plenty of dining out options very close by. Kailua and adjacent beaches are clean, friendly and beautiful! It felt safe for the teenagers to spend hours on their own. All around great experience with Brooke being very easy to reach and helpful with recommendations for hikes, shops and restaurants.

There was 4 of us. 3 adults and a baby. The place is bigger than what it looks like on the pictures. Located in the beautiful area with lots of hikes around. We really enjoyed the state and host were extremely friendly and responsive!!! we would definitely stay again, if we visit Hawaii.

Shirley's place had everything we needed and was a wonderful place to be for our vacation. Shirley was easy to communicate with and friendly. The space was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is tiny home sized (as pictured) and it had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. We would definitely stay again in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Glad the location was away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu, but appreciated how conveniently central located it was to everything else on the island, definitely need a car to go sightseeing. The condo was immaculate and very comfortable, with lots of natural light and windows. We certainly appreciated the AC, but the afternoon breeze really cooled the condo. Communication with Rangel was impeccable, making sure we were comfortable before and during our stay. Will definitely book another stay the next time we are on Oahu.

My stay exceeded all of my expectations! The balcony view was beautiful and looked even better than the pictures. I was able to see the sunset and sunrise every day if I wanted to. On Friday nights, they have a free fireworks show so I watched this from the balcony. The place was very clean and the washer/dryer was a nice plus. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Hawaii!

Angie listing advertises a studio space that you can expect to see when you arrive. Aside from certain decor for listing photos, all of the amenities stated are present. Check-in was flexible - they made sure we would be able to check in earlier than they anticipated to accommodate our early flight in. The shower was very strong when we had first used it (like spraying hail) but the pressure had eventually reduced to a more tolerable pressure on its own on the second use. Elevator availability was a negative we experienced but out of Angie's control and a minor inconvenience. Location was great - a brief walk's distance to Waikiki. Parking at the building has changed to $33/night with their 1-5 overnight passes being made available. Local recommendations were given - definitely ask Angie about it in case you want to squeeze some recommendations into your itinerary. 10/10 for our purpose of a week in Honolulu, I would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Waikiki. Fred's place in Honolulu was excellent—perfectly located between Ala Moana Beach and Waikiki, right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Initially, we thought about renting a car, but based on Fred's helpful advice, we decided against it. We found it easy and enjoyable to walk to either Waikiki or Ala Moana Beach, and when needed, Ubers were readily available and quick. The condo itself was well-equipped and comfortable. A dishwasher would have made things even more convenient, especially since we had breakfast there daily, but overall, the amenities provided met all our needs. Additionally, the condo is situated within the Ilikai Hotel, offering the convenience of a local market, coffee shop, and ice cream parlor right within the building. Being just behind the marina added to the appeal and convenience of our stay. You can't go wrong choosing Fred's place!

Small but nice 1-room apartment. Good for two people. Functionally furnished Amazing view on ocean/beach. Just a 10 min walk to Waikiki Main Street and 15 min to the beach

Great place ! Everything was within walking distance, great host. The only thing i don’t recommend is if you’re a light sleeper because it has constant ambulance siren so make sure you bring ear plugs. I’m a heavy sleeper so everything was perfect for me. Would book again next time i’m in Honolulu

It’s a great place with a nice view! The air conditioning was clutch during this time and weather. Walking to the center on waikiki was about 15 min

We loved staying with David. This was our first time staying in Waikiki area and I would totally recommend staying here. The best part of our stay was for sure being able to watch the fireworks right from our balcony without needing to go downstairs. It fit our small family of 4. We love how easy it was to get around the area with or without the car. The kids love the easy access to the pool to enjoy during the afternoon. Also was very convenient with free parking rather than having to find or pay for parking. David was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely be coming back.

Our host was very responsive and accommodated our early and late check out . The condo was clean and as described in the booking The location of the condo is perfect with great restaurants , canal and beach all less than 10minute walk .

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation near Waikiki Beach! The room was spacious and bright, with modern decor, and it was just a short walk to the beach, making the location very convenient. The host was warm and friendly, providing plenty of recommendations for local food and activities. Enjoying the sea breeze on the balcony every morning was our favorite time. Highly recommend this accommodation and can’t wait to come back!

I had a great time here. The unit was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable with a nice view of the pool and canal. The location was perfect being a short walk to lots of shops and food options. My needs were all met prior to staying and Jayden and team were very communactive. They seemed ready and willing to help if anything came up during my stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this condo! It was super easy to get to, and it made for a perfect starting point for exploring the island. Plus, the best part was the parking—it's so affordable compared to hotels in the area! The room was exactly as described, and we had all the amenities we could possibly need, like toiletries and beach gear. Sam was great to work with; he was so friendly and answered all our questions, which really made our stay more relaxed. The building staff were also really helpful during check-in and check-out. The security features, like the key fob for the elevators and code for the suite door, added a nice touch. We’re definitely hoping Sam’s suite will be available for our next trip to Oahu!
