Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ala Moana Beach

It's been a very pleasant stay at Young's place. Young is a very welcoming, friendly, responsive and helping host. Location of the apartment is super convenient, within walking distance to Waikiki beach, International Market mall, supermarkets, and bus stops which take you to many attractions. The apartment is well maintained, well equipped and clean, not to mention the beds are super comfortable, too! We would certainly stay again for our next trip to Hawaii. Mahalo~

Christina’s place was exactly as pictured. Convenient location to beaches, shopping, public buses. We were able to get around using only public buses from the airport, to the mall, and temple. So convenient. Christina responded timely to our requests. Very friendly. The only thing I wish we had was a table on the lanai for morning coffee. Unfortunately the table there was slanted and couldn’t be use. Not a big problem. Still was able to sit on sofa and use coffee table for the view. Saw a beautiful rainbow too.

This studio was easy to access and had an amazing view , parking was a little tough to find but parking meters are available and easy to access as well . The host was very nice and responsive at all times . Plenty of restaurants and brunch spots are walkable about a 15 minute walk to the international market place .

Excellent location and great apartment! The space was updated and very clean. We especially appreciated all of the items available for use: beach chairs, kids beach toys, pack and play, cookware, knives and cutting board, etc. The closest beach is just a block away and perfect for small kids- it was shallow and had a sea wall to keep the stronger waves out. We would definitely stay here again!

The location of this Airbnb is excellent, offering a really nice view. We appreciated the convenient access to nearby food trucks and bus stops, and the well-equipped kitchen. The soundproofing between units is kind of poor. We experienced disrupted sleep for a night due to noise from the neighboring unit.

A great location. A full apartment with amenities and private parking in the heart of Waikiki. Better than a resort in my opinion.

We definitely recommend Gerard’s place! The view was amazing! It was so nice opening the window in the morning with the Hawaiian breeze. We could see the ocean, the mountains, and city views. It’s only a few minutes to the beach, all the shops, and good food places. Easy access to bus stops and the Waikiki market made our stay incredibly convenient. Finally, the delightful little gifts left on the table for when we arrived was a lovely touch that made our anniversary stay in Hawaii very special. We bought the same items as souvenirs for friends and family in Australia. Thank you Gerard!

Great location, with beautiful view of diamond head and the beach. Everything you could need is in walking distance. Teddy's burgers in the lobby was a fantastic place to eat with great food.

Great space, great location. Easy to get to and from. My first trip to Hawaii and the accommodations supplemented a fantastic experience. I hope to go back soon. Kendall

Kenny was a great host for our stay. His instructions really helped in checking in. He also provided extra towels and beach stuff . we really loved the view from our bedroom. Would definitely come back next time .

I absolutely loved staying here! The space was perfect for me as I so enjoyed the balcony view of both Diamond Head and Waikīkī Beach. I would use this spot again if returning to Oahu!

I had a great stay at this studio apartment in Honolulu! The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and close to plenty of restaurants, plus the ABC convenience store for any quick needs. The apartment was clean, welcoming, and had a large, comfortable bed which made it feel like home. The highlight of the stay was definitely the view. The sunrises and sunsets from the apartment were beautiful, and I especially loved enjoying them on the 10th-floor terrace, where I had dinner out there multiple times—what a great spot!. The zoo was directly across the street, which was perfect for a visit with my grandson. We also rented scooters just a minute away, making it easy to get around. As for the cons, there was some street noise due to the sliding glass door facing a busy street, but it quieted down in the evenings. My stay here added to my overall great visit to Hawaii.

We had a great stay at the apartment. The apartment is close to Waikiki Beach and the view of the city is also great (there is always a fireworks display on Friday evening). Right in front of the house is a bus stop. Many supermarkets and restaurants close by. Communication with Arshavir was great. We can recommend the apartment.

Had some gear which made going to the beach more enjoyable. AC worked well, space was clean. No complaints

Great！ Good location and good place that located at Kuhio Ave on Olohana Street. Bus 20 from Airport goes Waikiki, get off at Namahana Street. It closes Waikiki and Ala Moana. Walk to beach, restaurants, shopping within 10 min. Peter’s place is good and nice views of Waikīkī. I enjoyed my stay, nice place and friendly staff. Would stay here again. I definitely recommend here.

We stayed at Lea’s place for the second time and found it to be just as enjoyable as the first - perhaps better thanks to a new ceiling fan in the main living area and a new refrigerator. The area at the western end of Waikiki in which this unit is located is a calm oasis between the noise and crowds of central Waikiki and the commercial area of Ala Moana, the ever-developing Ward area and downtown Honolulu. It is a comfortable walk to central Waikiki with great access to the commercial areas to the west. There are plenty of places to eat and relax nearby, and that Hobron/Ala Moana Blvd. intersection location is right on a great 3-mile running loop through Ala Moana park, which we took full advantage of. Lea’s place afforded us plenty of space for the two of us and many of the comforts of home. And of course, Lea welcomed us back and was very responsive and helpful, which does indeed make it feel like home. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Loved staying here we had our 18 month old with us and it was the perfect amount of space and nice to have a small fridge/freezer to save on eating out every meal! Very clean upon arrival great location food trucks right across the street were our go to’s! Walkable distance to downtown restaurants and shops. We loved our stay and definitely will be back in the future!

Ideal for those who want to stay in the center of the action in heart of Waikiki, bustling downtown-like part of Oahu. Bed and pillow was very comfy, nice to have AC and fan in addition to electric stovetop for cooking meals. Appreciated the filtered water station in lobby. Wouldn’t recommend having a car in this area as it’s mostly walkable, hotel increased parking to 37/day. For those who are afraid of bugs, some tiny ants 🐜 come out of cracks in the wall and crevices on counter top just heads up.

Enjoyed my stay at Dana’s place. She communicated everything perfectly and I had no surprises when I arrived. Great location and easy to get to. Highly recommend 🙂
