Hytten ligger ved Kongevegen, og er velegnet som utgangspunkt for fotturer og sykkelturer. Mange fiskemuligheter i nærheten. Godt utgangspunkt for bilturer til Hallingdal, Valdres og Sogn. Cabin at 800 m.a.s.l. in the mountain village of Vats, Ål municipality. Great views over the village and mountains. Hiking and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, cycling and hiking trails. It is almost 6 km up to the high mountain in Skarvheimen where you can see Reineskarvet and Hallingskarvet. The cabin is located by itself and there is a road all the way up. If you enjoy quiet and scenic surroundings, it is worth taking the trip here.
