Plenty of parking space. A hammock that you can hang up between the trees outside the cabin - for a relaxing afternoon nap, or a night under the open sky. Possible to rent bed linen.

No electricity or running water – but everything you need for a real and atmospheric cottage experience. Perfect for couples, friends and families who want to relax and enjoy nature. In winter, a ski slope is made in and past the cabin – parking is then 1 km from the cabin.

High and low climbing park is only 300m away, and about 500m away is Strandafjorden swimming area! Ål ski center is 8 km away and Geilo only 23 km. Hemsedal ski resort is 56 km from the cabin. Hardangervidda about 35 km. In the surrounding mountains you can pick and choose from fantastic ski slopes in winter and hiking trails in summer! The activity opportunities are just as good in winter as in summer!

Cabin at 800 m.a.s.l. in the mountain village of Vats, Ål municipality. Great views over the village and mountains. Hiking and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, cycling and hiking trails. It is almost 6 km up to the high mountain in Skarvheimen where you can see Reineskarvet and Hallingskarvet. The cabin is located by itself and there is a road all the way up. If you enjoy quiet and scenic surroundings, it is worth taking the trip here.

Grill marshmallow on fire pit and whip down the fields on snowracer ❄️ Gamlestugu is a charming house from the end of the 17th century with a warm mix of historical touch and modern comfort. The house is located at the end of a farmyard, with great views, outdoor area and proximity to nature.

Located at 930 meters above sea level, the ski conditions are guaranteed in winter, but there are also plenty of activities and swimming opportunities in summer. Well suited for families with children of all ages. Winter road up to the cabin, and ski in ski out (cross-country skiing).

Welcome to a simple, peaceful and convenient accommodation in a perfect location – only 1 km from Ål city center with train station, shops, electric car chargers and eateries. Ski slope is only 150 meters from the apartment, and right outside the door, great hiking areas with access to over 2000 km of cross-country trails. Ål Skisenter is 10 min away, Geilo 25 min and Hemsedal 50 min.

Welcome to my home! This is a small but spacious house that offers a unique, cozy atmosphere. The house has two bedrooms: The master bedroom with a double bed and a guest room with a single bed. You will also find a fairly large bathroom, as well as a loft with an extra mattress and sofa and TV with Chromecast for relaxation. We look forward to welcoming you!
