Cabin holiday rentals in Akureyri

This was a great place to stay, it was in a great location for our adventure in Akureyri. The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our trip. The host was great with communication and helpful.Highly recommend!

After we had been looking forward to staying in Heiðas cabin for so long, we just fell in love with it even more from the very moment we arrived. What a gem <3 Aparts from being perfectly clean and well-equipped, the cabin simply just spread such charme and warmth that it was the best possible place we could have returned to after long days of exploration and adventure. A very cozy and peaceful cabin in a beautiful surrounding. We were 7 people in total, and we fit very well in the cabin.

Peaceful and relaxing place, we spent only one night but we would have liked to sleep one more night as it was so nice and peaceful. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi with hot water, We would highly recommend.

Beautiful stay -enjoyed the view and location. We had a small issue with the water and we received excellent communication and made sure it was fixed.

Very nice wooden cabin in perfect location

Lovely cabin in the middle of nowhere. Our cabin was number 3a and looks better than the actual photos. Warm and cozy both rooms bathroom and main room. It has a big window great to see the Northern lights (although we couldn’t see them). The place was clean and had a comfy bed.

The property is in a beautiful valley in the North of Iceland. Getting out in the outdoors is very easy from the location. The property was very well provisioned, and clean and tidy. Would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful and private location. We thought the cabin was very homely and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay very much! The only suggestion I’d make is to amend the listing to say it has an oven as opposed to a microwave, because we brought food to microwave thinking that’s the option we had. Such a great place though and we would definitely stay again 😊

Clean, looks very new, good beds. Great environment, beautiful valley with great hiking oppurtunities. I really recommend booking the breakfast, we got f.ex. among other things smoked salmon and smoked trout, on freshly baked bread, yummy :)

Loved it and felt so cozy! Big windows with views on some forests far away 😍 Comfortable mattress, the electric stove, coffee machine, washing machine - just a few things to highlight. Yes, it was the priciest stay of our Icelandic trip, but we could really see the difference comparing it with our previous stays Thanks for creating coziness far away from home 🏡

Awesome place in an awesome place

Amazing hosts in an amazing cottage! The price value money you get is extremely good. The cottage was well equipped located in a private safe area. Close from Akureyri and with many different activities nearby. Stefan and Asta are extremely responsive and kind. There is a hot tub, board games, an amazing tv and a playground nearby for kids. It is my family’s favourite accommodation from our Iceland tour.

Spent a fortnight in Iceland, this was easily the best stay. The surroundings and character came as a very pleasant surprise
