Holiday houses in Akureyrarbær

It has been the 3rd time I stayed here. As always, it was a wonderful stay.

Wonderful luxury cottage perched high on the mountain, close to everything, but with spectacular views over Akureyri and the fjord. Modern, clean and well stocked with amenities, including a hot tub and laundry. Arnor was very responsive and easy to work with, gave great suggestions for dining and activities. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

Great place and an amazing host. Very supportive

This place was perfect for a couple nights stay! Great location, very walkable, in the center of town. We had a little trouble finding the place but once we did, it was very easy to check in, parking was easy and convenient. Kitchen was well stocked and the apartment was very spacious and clean.

The best place we had on our trip through Iceland. Very friendly communication, a great location, very good amenities and a perfect view from the private pool. We would come back anytime:)

We had a beautiful one night at Babbakot, 20 minutes from Akureyri. The snow was plentiful and staying at the cottage felt like we were in a fairytale!

Me and my family had a fantastic time at Stefanias house. The view over Akureyri is absolutelly amazing from inside the living room and the house is equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We had a perfect week there. Looking forward to visiting again.

Stay here!!! This is a unique gem in the mountains. We even got a beautiful view of the aurora borealis spread across the sky from downtown Akureyri to the mountain behind us. This place has very good character and makes you feel cozy and right at home. Would definitely stay again!

An excellent place to stay, right in the centre with the town's free buses departing right outside and the countryside buses just across the street. The taxi office is also opposite the apartment. Very easy to travel to and from (hire car companies are a ten minute walk or free bus ride away too). We were here for a short break but would happily return to Akureyri and use this apartment again. Thanks.

Beautiful location with the perfect view and the host was lovely, made sure to check in with us to make sure we were all set for our stay. Would recommend the location and house, had great amenities and design.

Beautiful location in nature with animals right on the sea with incredibly beautiful views. The house is spacious with great amenities (fireplace, bathtub with jacuzzi function, great terrace) Super cozy in a secluded location the pictures can't reach the reality of the water We'll happily come back anytime

Valdís was a great host. There was clear communication, great local suggestions and she went out of her way to make our New Years Eve feel special- even invited us to watch the fireworks, sadly a message I didn’t see till it was too late. The cabin is a brilliant location with a stunning view. We’d definitely stay again.
