“We stayed at White Villa for a month and it was perfect! We have a second floor of the White Villa (with a separate entrance) for our own. The place is full of light and air, inside you have everything we needed for living, the kitchen is fully equipped. White Villa is situated in a calm streets of a small villadge - Ambalangoda. Neighbours are very nice and friendly. The Villa is 10 minutes walking to the supermarket and 15 minutes to the beach. And of course much faster on a bike. Note that Ambalangoda is not a very touristic place, so don't expect many restaurants and tourictic shops here. However, it is only 20 minutes on bike or tuk-tuk from Hikkaduwa, so it was more than okay for us. Plus the road from Amabalangoda to Hikkaduwa is really beautiful with all the sea views, we really enjoyed it a lot. Lalith is a superhost indeed! He met us very late at night in our cheking in, helped with renting a bike, treated us with bananas and avocados from his garden. He always stayed in touch with us, quickly responded to any messages. Many thanks to him for a warm welcome! Recommend this place for everyone!”

“Sudath and his team were wonderful. We very much enjoyed our stay here. After traveling for 35 days this was the last place on our list and it was exactly what we needed. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed a stunning view of the beautiful beach straight out from the veranda while enjoying complete comfort and relaxation. All of our needs were attended to and the prepared meals were delicious. All the facilities and the A/C in the bedrooms surpassed our expectations. Very clean!! Sudath helped arrange transport and is a gem at helping one enjoy the local area. He is very professional and prompt with any question or concern one may have. It is a relief to know that someone is looking out for you! The pictures are true, this place is a dream! Book it :)”

“We absolutely LOVED our time at BoBo’s! The host went out of his way to provide us with everything we could have possibly need. Let’s start off with the property. Absolutely gorgeous room, spacious and very private! The bed was extremely comfy and so big! We had our own patio with lounge chairs and an umbrella if we ever chose to be lazy and not walk to either of the 2 beaches around (both reachable on foot within 3-4 minutes). Let’s move on and talk about food. After being told that there aren’t many restaurants around we were a bit concerned and opted to have dinner at BoBo’s ( they have a full food menu and plenty of beverages). We were able to enjoy a drink at the dining area right around the corner from our room while waiting for the food to be ready. When the food arrived we were absolutely stunned by the sheer deliciousness of our meal! It was a traditional Sri Lankan dinner spread consisting of various curries, sambal, roti, rice and so on. The next morning we were greeted with a Sri Lankan breakfast which was also absolutely amazing! The hospitality did not stop here. The host was extra helpful not only by giving up tips for thing to do BUT ACTUALLY drove us to and from places and made sure that we had the most “non-touristy” and authentic experience. We visited his cinnamon farm and learned how the spice is grown and harvested. After we were brought to a small cove where the ocean goes inland from where we took a boat and headed to a small canal cutting into the island. We saw a lot of wildlife and had a great time! The hotel has any and all amenities that one might need- a shop where you could buy local souvenirs, cinnamon and tea; fast and reliable WiFi, outstanding food and drinks and many cute and friendly dogs! I cannot recommend this place more to people who are looking to have fun and enjoy their time in Sri Lanka!”
