Holiday houses in Ahungalla Beach

The villa itself is great, 4 spacious bedrooms, more well-maintained grounds, a pool that is taken care of every morning. The house was cleaned every other day, with a change of towels. The kitchen has everything you need, dishes, a fire pans, upon arrival there was egg milk salt oil. Washing machine is also available. Among the disadvantages: we were from the middle to the end of April 2025, the non-season began there were very strong waves and our beach did not meet our expectations at all, immediately after the steps there was no sand, as we saw in the photo, but the huge blocks of rocks under which the ocean is raging, that is, to go down these stones in the right vilas 6. We were with 3 kids and it was very problematic for us. After talking to the staff, they explained to us that at this time it is always so, there is a low tide and the sand goes away, then returns. The conclusion of the villa is great but it is recommended to visit in season Separately, I want to note the driver(he also washed the pool in the morning) drove us everywhere, was very patient.

Thank you to Shafeena, Sahal and the team at Buona Vista Heights for providing one of the best holiday experiences we’ve ever had. The property, staff, surroundings far exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional - we ate out a couple of times but quickly realised that the best food was cooked by Sahal and his team at home. We experienced delicious Sri Lankan cuisine including chilli fresh crab. Communication was excellent from the moment i booked the property which was very re-assuring having never visited Sri Lanka. All our excursions were arranged through Sahal, including a day trip to Yala National park - this made it so easy for us to make the most of our time in Sri Lanka. The property is so peaceful and a sanctuary but only a short tuk tuk trip to the hustle of Unawatuna shops, bars, restaurants and beach. We were a group of friends travelling from Australia, Uk and Dubai and we have all agreed that we will return. Thanks again to all at Buona Vista

The house was even more beautiful than the photos. We had a very nice stay there. The host was very helpful and gave us everything we needed. He also gave us the number of a tuktuk driver near us for when we wanted to go to the town of Unawatuna or Galle Fort. Thank you for everything!

Fabulous location for a pit stop and views are amazing. The food was delicious, staff attentive and we stayed as a group and we all enjoyed it. Note bring mosquito repellent for the evenings if you wish to stay out:)

We stayed at Pasan's hotel for 5 nights. The complex is beautiful, the garden very well maintained, the palm trees on the beach make a beautiful picture and also the pool was great. The room and bathroom were sufficiently big and clean. The staff, who were on site from morning to evening, was very friendly and we got very tasty food. We felt very comfortable. The three other rooms were also occupied by guests at times, but overall it was very quiet, you can only hear the waves rushing. Unfortunately, you can't swim in the sea due to the high waves, but there is the pool for that. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

We had a great time at Tea House Villa. The place is very nice, in the middle on a jungle. The only downside is the way to get there is not very easy. You need a local driver to take you there - it's not very easy to get groceries or food. You need to plan this ahead. Other than that - the villa is very spacious and the pool was refreshing.

Priyankara is a wonderful and kind host, his property is even better than the pictures, he was around to walk us through the space and gave local recommendations., We only stayed for a couple of days, but felt right at home, It's very charmingly decorated as well.
