Monthly Rentals in Agia Thekli

We had a fantastic 2-week stay at Nikolaos and Mela's home. Set in a peaceful part of the island, it has truly amazing views of the countryside, the gulf of Argostoli and Lixouri. The house is very well equipped, large and comfortable with 3 decent size bedrooms and a large living room. It also has a very big terrace complete with a daybed for afternoon naps, away from the heat. We felt right at home and didn't miss anything. Located in the quiet village of Agia Thekli, with a small village shop for essentials, it’s 15 mins by car from Lixouri, a seaside town with supermarkets, restaurants, shops and regular ferries to the capital Argostoli (20-min boat trip). It's also well placed to visit the eastern part of the island, Petani and Myrtos beaches and Asos and Fiscardo villages. Nikolaos and his family were charming and very welcoming. We were offered home grown tomatoes and peppers and gifted a bottle of local Greek wine. We highly recommend and hope to visit Kefalonia again soon!

Greg’s place is a dream airbnb. Although I have been increasingly disappointed with Airbnb as host become more and more corporate, Greg’s place is a beautiful home built by his great great grandfather (you can see his signature on a stone near the entrance). It has been in the family since. It has functions as a home and a refuge. It is Amazon g to get to participate in the history of such a special place.

Great apartment with stunning views of the valley and sea from the terrace. Landlady Hermina was super friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable, the beach of Petani around the corner. Nothing was missing, some coffee was available on arrival. We were very satisfied, it was very quiet at the beginning of June, great for relaxing. We only used the kitchen sparingly, but it was well equipped. Everything was as described, we felt very comfortable.

A wonderful week long stay in this beautiful villa. The location is peaceful and surrounded by gorgeous scenery - view of mountains to the left and the sea to the right. The villa has everything for a relaxing holiday and feels like a home from home. The pool is a bonus and the bbq made for chilled and romantic evenings. Great host who responded quickly and was helpful with local information and recommendations. Lixouri is about 20mins by car and the beautiful Petani and Agia Eleni beaches are nearby. Can recommend Lodokolla Stin Plagia, Alvi, Cafe Ouzeri and Captain Nicolas restaurants all within a relatively short distance by car.
