Beautiful, quiet, green all around

One of a kind place! A little off the beaten path, but there is so much to do in the area. Eleonora was very helpful with recommendations and strives to have you enjoy your stay. The old town and museum are great just across the river. Hopefully we make it back one day!

The house of duty is a pearl.... full of charm, well renovated and functionally furnished. Suitable for a short stay (the kitchen is functional but necessarily small in size), very useful for enjoying the old city, parking for the car is relatively easy to find (although most of the nearest places are subject to time disc). Highly recommended for a weekend as a couple.

We stayed at Torre Gigliano for 3 nights in April as a break from a long drive between the UK and eastern Europe. Alessandra was a generous and friendly host, on hand but not intrusive and was flexible with our check-in time when our ferry crossing was changed significantly. The tower was the most perfect place to rest and relax for a few days with both indoor and outdoor space being truly magical. The tower is beautifully presented and we found everything impeccably clean and all facilities exactly as described. The outdoor space is equally stunning with acres of olive groves to wander within (ideal for dogs), a beautifully clean small pool and each of the four sides of the tower offering a different place to sit and relax. We planned to leave the tower and explore Ruvo and the surroundings but found the place just too difficult to leave. Thank you Alessandra.

Marina was definitely a superhost! A nice chat, warm welcome and extremely friendly. At the last minute, she arranged a cooking workshop for us in her own kitchen. This was a truly top experience and made our stay even more enjoyable. Nice surroundings and good base for exploring surrounding villages. The only down side was the loud bed. We definitely recommend it! =) Thank you Marina!

We absolutely loved our stay! The place has the most beautiful view!! Daniela is a phenomenal host! The place is definitely harder to get to without a car, but Daniela went out of her way to tell us what bus to take, the bus schedules and made sure we got off at the right stop! She went above and beyond! It was very clean upon arrival. We had everything we needed for a week stay — enough towels & linens, pots & pans, paper towels & toilet paper. We loved how much there was to walk to around the place. There is a butcher shop across the street, at least 4 restaurants within walking distance, and a small market with everything we needed. We also walked to the beach many times. There is also a scooter rental place next door that we utilized and that was so convenient and great! It was so quiet and peaceful and all the neighbors are so nice! I just have to mention again how GREAT the views were! We would def come back!! Our only complaints were the amount of flies & how hard the bed was.

We were very warmly welcomed by Bernardo who immediately took us to the accommodation right inside the central Tower. Suggestive is to say the least. Really unique location with a 360* view with Capri in the "frame". We also appreciated the tranquility and discretion of the context.
